"I just had my first visit with Dr. hamby, and I was very impressed! She was very upbeat and kind! She was very attentive and listened to me and gave me great advice! They gave me a 3d ultrasound which was the first time for me! So, overall I was greatly encouraged and excited to have her for labor and delivery of our baby!"
"Made my appointment January 6th. Was told that I would be seen in June. The day before my appointment, I was told that it had been pushed to August. Two days before my appointment in August, I called with a schedule conflict and asked if I could switch appointments with my daughter. The receptionist told me that they had to reschedule me again and just hadn't gotten around to calling me yet. When I voiced frustration, she told me to pick a different doctor. My daughter has serious issues that we were trying to get addressed and she was given the run around (probably because of her age), but when I tried to go back with her, I was very rudely told to stay in the waiting room. Other patients had family with them. I was the only one made to stay. I didn't mind the visit with Dr. Hamby, but her staff is rude and not well organized. Both appointments were 90 minutes to 2hrs behind without an explanation or apology. I would have liked to know ahead of time that I had to reschedule other appointments around her."
"Whoever books the appointments for Dr. Hamby needs to do a better job at reading patients files prior to booking. I saw my primary care for infertility and had a referral placed for Dr. Handy’s office in November of last year. The appointment was made and then rebooked over the summer to November. I JUST received a call today for a tentative appointment on Monday for infertility only to be told they don’t provide that care. So you’re telling me that for a year, no one thought to look at my notes and the reason for care prior to booking the appointment in the first place? I’m now left to start from scratch and potentially wait even longer, thanks."
