New to homeownership and covered by Citizens. 1/2022 received a letter in the mail from Citizens that my policy was being cancelled due to my roof needing to be repaired. I was devastated. Like how is this possible. Major blow. Lessoned learn. Lessoned learned. I replaced my roof out of pocket very expensive. Long story short. "Contacted them about a quote and was told they were going to call me with whatever results they get. Nothing so I called few times next day and asked to speak with the person who took my information. I was told she is on lunch break and she is going to call me back but nothing. Next day again I called and was told she is on the phone with another customer but she will call me back as soon as she is off the phone but nothing. I emailed her describing my attempts to reach her but haven't received any response or follow up. I would have preferred to be told that with my insurance records, they couldn't help rather than not respond at all."
