After trying out many dance studios and teachers over the years, since dancing is my passion, I've been so grateful to have found Carlos! He's an EXCELLENT teacher - something totally needed when learning dance. He's patient, kind, encouraging and supportive. Plus, he utilizes practices used in top dance studios, with regards to counting, choreography, making sure students are understanding things before advancing etc... which is so hard to find and especially important if you don't have a dance background. He also teaches so well to a combined class of various dance abilities, so whether it's your first time ever dancing to have danced for a while - everyone seems to get what they need out of the classes. I've since enrolled in private lessons and it has been so worth it. He's really helped me identify areas for improvement and helps me advance quickly without having to follow a specific program which many of the studios around here seem to use. Also, the studio is spacious, and the perfect temperature - with plenty of mirrors to help you learn better and is conveniently located in Sarasota. The studio always draws a wonderful community of dancers too! Highly recommend you check it out - one bachata class and I was hooked. Music is A+++. Definitely grateful to have found this amazing gem!!!"
