Acceptance Insurance

"I would leave 0 stars if I could. My wife got insurance where this place and select insurance were involved. She had the policy for less than 24 hours and cancelled or tried I should say. Both places say call the other place and even tho she was charged $350 they refunded her $5 for coverage that lasted less than 24 hours! I highly recommend saving yourself the headache and not dealing with either of these companies at all!"

"So I signed up online (through Zebra) so I don't have any feedback on the staff here. My review is solely based on the affordability... Hoping it may help someone in a similar position. I had Progressive, which was fine... Until I got a new vehicle that is! I called to switch the insurance to my new car and they NEVER mentioned a rate increase and no one ever contacted me about it either. So it wasn't until I went to pay the following months bill that I seen my rate over doubled! I went from a used car to a slightly newer used car. I understand a small increase but that was ridiculous and worst of all I was never informed of it. Then I had a lapse in coverage due to this. I switched to National General who was charging me as much as Progressive... But I just didn't like how dirty Progressive did me. Paying over $200 for the bare minimum is just absolutely ridiculous though... Especially when (at this point) I hadn't had any accidents or tickets in over 8 years and only 1 claim due to an accident that wasn't my fault. So again, I had a lapse in coverage due to financial hardship. At that point, most of the "well-known" companies wanted to charge me over $300 a month. Then my license ended up being suspended due to failure to pay some fees. Ohh and I've had one ticket due to my registration being expired. This company's rate was less than half of what most of the others wanted... Again, for the bare minimum. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have been able to get my vehicle insured and on the road. So I'm extremely thankful for them! One last thing I'd like to mention is a lot of other companies had different rates when I went through a service (like Zebra) to get a quote then when requesting a quote directly through them the amount was more. This feels shady and possibly illegal... So they can just change you whatever they want??? But when I checked the rate directly through the Assurance website it was exactly the same as when I checked it on Zebra. This right here showed me they are atleast somewhat more honest than the competition... So not only did they have the lowest rate but I also felt they were trustworthy as well!"
