"Don't go to this Pilates places I didn't get the chance to meet the teacher but it was kinda rude I came at 3 and before I can check in she just went to work starting. Not only that the women in the front the blond was absolutely horrible to deal with. She used her fake kindness saw that I was struggling because they did not even have Apple Pay!!! And I needed socks socks! I drove all this way I tried to buy socks She needed to see a photo of my card and before I new it It was ten minutes into the class and I had to leave. The girl in the front seemed way to young to be working there. And could of lended me the socks and sorted it out until afterwards. Or had me pay after the girl next to her suggested me go. Then the blond would not let me go in with out a pair of socks!! I was going to buy a package her 4 lessons. Now I never want to come back they were unfriendly and not accommodating. The women next to her tried to help me But in the end it was extremely unfortunate I drove all this way over and this is how they treat me a new client!!! Screw the ten dollar socks they lost a client willing to pay 100 a month!!! Unfortunate and total lack of professionalism I worked from desk before and I would of never handled it that way. Due to this lady inability to help this facility lost a client and idk if I even want to go to another location. The Pilates instructors will loose clients this way"
"My appointment was scheduled 5 days in advance, I’ve had several conversations with Hannah in regards to my appointment, also making them aware that Ive never received Any consent form or instructions prior to my appointment. They suggested I arrive 10 mins early. The moment I arrived I’m being instructed to pay $24 for a pair of socks (this should have been disclosed prior to my appointment not the day of) if there are special requirements why not discuss this before the appointment. Please make customers aware of everything that is needed prior to their appointments not once they’ve arrived."
"Let me first say: going to Pilates classes here multiple times a week has become one of the things I've stayed consistent in and look forward to regularly! I have been a member at this location for about 10 months. I truly believe so much of your Pilates experience at studios comes down to the instructor, and Ava at this location is by FAR the best instructor I've had the pleasure to encounter, and I have tried several pilates studios in the area. I am habitually signed up for a class of hers on every day she instructs, and if they added her on more days, I would sign up for classes on those days as well. She is nice and funny, but I specifically love how she gets creative and switches up the format and exercises of the class. She will push you to challenge yourself and build strength but also is understanding that limitations or energy levels fluctuate, and is more than happy to work within your needs on any given day. There are some other instructors I enjoy as well, such as Claudia and Katlyn. I haven't tried every instructor's class, but there have been a few instructors that are just not for me, so I avoid those classes. The facility itself is always pretty clean and the front desk staff is generally welcoming. Their policies have been explained clearly to me and they send email reminders on policies or fun initiatives they are putting on, such as a Halloween themed week."
"I signed up for a membership just two months ago and am already canceling (even though I've had a mostly positive experience). Here's why: 1) The space is simply too small to accommodate all the members, making it IMPOSSIBLE to book classes. If you don't have an unlimited membership, you can ONLY book classes when your billing period renews. For example, if you joined the studio on the 15th of the month, you are only allowed to start using your next round of credits the following month on 15th. I understand this is to ensure that payments go through before allowing people to book more classes, but what it actually does is encourages people to book classes months in advance, pushing other folks with later billing dates to the perpetual waitlist. Can you imagine paying $125-300 a month for gym membership and not being able to sign up for a class that month? 2) You are forced to get a membership, whether you want one or not. This company does not sell class packs. Drop-ins cost $35 a pop, but you can't purchase them unless you've had a membership. If you sign up for a membership, you have to keep it for at least 3 months. This means if you ever want to step foot in this studio, you'll need to have a membership for at least 3 months. Some potential solutions: I'm not sure about the lease situation, but moving to a bigger location that can accommodate more reformers would honestly be the most helpful. However, realistically, there are more immediate ways to alleviate the booking blockage. 1) Only allow people to book classes one week in advance, this way classes don't fill up so far out. People with unlimited memberships can book several weeks out, blocking people with 4 and 8-class memberships from getting a spot in class. Limiting class sign-ups to only 1-2 weeks in advance will level the playing field for all memberships and create a more equitable registration process. 2) Offer class packs as an option. Rather than paying $35 per drop-in, folks can buy multiples classes at once for a slightly discounted price (i.e. 25 classes for $30 each or 50 for $28). This way, people don't have to wait for the billing date renewal policy to book their classes. I would totally pay up-front for a large class pack to ensure I could book classes whenever I please, rather than being roped into a membership I can't even use because the classes already filled up. While the employees at this location are lovely and I've enjoyed my classes so far, for the reasons stated above, any membership besides the unlimited isn't worth it. The price point is also a bit high for the location. It currently costs $125 to get 4 classes per month, when Orange Theory next door is offering unlimited classes for essentially the same price. While they are totally different workouts, the point still stands. Most gyms in this area charge $125-150 for unlimited memberships, yet that's what Club Pilates is charging for just one class per week. When you do the math, it may be worth it to invest in a reformer and do the workouts at home."
