"They advertise a free 3-day guest pass but once you go to the front desk they said that it’s not in their policy to give out free passes and that you must $25 for the 3 days or sign up for a membership. After speaking with corporate and confirming that we do not have to pay for a guest pass at this location, Crystal (front desk lady) continued to deny us and said that their location policy is different and if we wanted to enter the gym we must pay the $25. It’s truly disgusting and disappointing how my friends and I were treated. They’re unprofessional and if this is how 24 hour fitness treat customers I recommend that people don’t come to this location at all. The east colonial location is more efficient and treat their customers better"

"I downloaded a 3 day pass to try out a new gym and upon arrival was not even greeted. I let the receptionist know I downloaded a pass and her first remark to me was “What are you here for?” “Do you want a membership?” I let her know I was there to workout and she snatched my ID from me, did something on the computer and told me I would not be able to use my pass. I left and went to the colonial location which was such a great experience I got a membership after my workout but had to drive 20 mins away vs this location which is right next door to me. I later called to ask for the receptionist name and GM contact information and was hung up on. After seeing the reviews it looks like the GM is just like her staff and not worth even mentioning this to. Very disappointed."

"Sorry to post this but last year I complained about the maintenance of the pool. A year later they will tell you they cleaned to pool but they haven’t. Who ever they hired doesn’t brush the steps and sides. What will it take to get this corrected. I will not go in a pool like that. Other major clubs pools have zero yellow mold or scum. Shaq please help us!!!!"

"Simply disgusting. Been going for almost a year now and same issues: no towels, no disinfectant, machines dirty or non operational, pool filthy -a lot of dirt, and wheelchair access is corroding and looks like seeping into the pool. That was today 12/23, nobody reads the rules for the steam room. Have a 2 year contract and this is the closet one to my current location."

"When you sign up prepare to be badgered and almost forced into buying personal training classes. I didn't have an issue with this gym until I spoke with the manager and general manager. They are rude and absolutely no help. First of all, the gym is filthy. There's only one person on staff at a time, if you are lucky one day there might be two. IF you are lucky. Also, If you get charged more than usual or if you just didn't approve of a transaction BE PREPARED to not get your money back. I left the country, told them to put my account on hold and I was still charged. I haven’t used the gym since I left weeks ago. The “general manager” Brooke ( no one with that attitude should be in charge of anything to be honest, she started mocking me on the phone because HER staff is wonky. ) Brooke (the “gm”) told me they could not refund me because there was no notes that my account was going to be on hold. That is a staffing problem, not mine. So unprofessional and the attitude I got for their mistake was absolutely disgusting. I did my job as a customer to let them know that I will not be using the gym because I’m leaving the country and since the girl who “froze” my account didn’t notate anything I can’t get my money back. The experience was disappointing. I would never recommend this gym to anyone. If you are looking for a respectable and a clean gym this gym would not be a good fit for you. You can do way better than this. Especially if the “managers” won’t even help you. seriously don’t waste your time or money with these people."
