Dwight H. Hunter Northeast Pool is a full-featured swimming facility located at 1100 Northeast 14th Street in Gainesville, Florida. With a capacity of 440 people and a size of 50 meters, this pool offers a variety of amenities including lap lanes, a super-shallow section ranging from 1.5 to 4 feet, a splash pad, diving boards, access ramp, lift, and stairs. Our professionally trained staff is dedicated to ensuring that visitors have a great time at the pool.
Please note that the splash pad is currently open, but the slide is closed for repairs. The diving boards are only available during weekend hours. For special events or rentals at the pool, please contact the Aquatics Supervisor at (352) 334-5067.
The pool's spring hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 6am to 10am for lap swim, and 11am to 8pm for lap/open swim. On weekends, the pool is open from 12pm to 5pm for lap/open swim.

"First of all the lifeguards deserve 5 stars! The slide is broken so that is a bummer, but 2/3 diving boards are working and fun. I was there on a field trip with 1st - 8th graders so it has a wide appeal. There are lanes for swimming too! The splash pad is a fun and a nice area. The shallow pool is great too, what a relief to have for younger kids who aren’t strong swimmers."
