"Not safe for neurodivergent children: First let me say that we were excited about starting the summer with FKA, the programming was enticing and we were excited to learn that my son (who has ADHD) would be able to have his medications administered during the day (a major plus). The beginning of camp began and issues with bullying began as well. I communicated this to a staff member and was assured he would be moved away from the child who appeared to be targeting him. However, it continued. My son becomes easily overstimulated by sounds and had an incident where he yelled due to overstimulation. This was the first complaint coming from the staff, and noted it as a "safety issue". I knew from then that they were on the path to finding reasons to remove him. We are now in week three and he was removed from the program due to a spat between he and another child who would call him names like "pretty ugly", and would tell him to "shut up". FKA boasts about a well behaved group of kids, but well behaved appears to be subjective and related to who they view as such. I find it disheartening that the bullies are allowed to stay at FKA, while my son had to go. Incredibly heartbreaking. If you are looking for placement for the summer for your neurodivergent child, this may not be the place for them. I asked early on if his ABA therapist could accompany him since they assist with issues like overstimulation and coping skills for students like him, they denied my request. They don't appear to be equipped to address emotional regulation issues within social settings, or to properly protect your child from bullying. Overall, for the days he was there, the activities (park visits, swimming, and Friday trips) were the most exciting for him and he was happy about that for sure, it's sad he can no longer partake in such events amongst his peers, but the others are still there without issues smh. I hope this review helps with other parents with neurodivergent children."

"My wife and I were looking for a good place for our both beautiful daughters to learn self defense and discipline. We came across FAMILY KNOWLEDGE ACTION MARTIAL ARTS in Margate, FL. We had a few days trial to see if the kids like it. We all fell in love with the school and the staff. They are treating us like family members. Th environment is great for kids. Mr. Carlos and Alexis put all their efforts to put the kids on their right path that will lead in the future to success and discipline. I am recommending this place for anyone who want their kids ton have great self defense skills and discipline. Once again, Thank you FKA Martial Arts."

"Wonderful group of instructors and people. My daughter has been coming to FKA for a couple years for aftercare and camp. She absolutely loves it. Now she is enrolled in their marital arts program and she is doing wonderful. They are very involved with each student and family. We even had her 8th birthday party here!!"
