"I started training at USA Tae Kwon Do School under Master John in August, 2020. Upon walking in, I could see that Master John keeps the school very clean and tidy. Every surface is wiped, sprayed and sanitized constantly and there is usually a scented candle or two burning in the background. The walls are filled with past competition photos and artwork from the students... Feels like home. Master John is very welcoming and his passion to teach others is one of the first things I noticed. Any question I had would be answered and explained until I understood: Foot placement during forms? Nuggets of sparring wisdom and strategy? Why this kick versus that kick? Why SO MANY RABBIT HOPS? Master John is extremely kind, patient and an encyclopedia of knowledge. I feel extremely fortunate to have him as an instructor. I also noticed that Master John's values on knowledge, patience, kindness and the drive to teach others to be the best version of themselves, bleeds into his students. Many students were willing to help give pointers and words of encouragement. The senior belts in particular are extremely nice and would help me constantly on any new technique or form. The quality of the training, the discipline, and desire to be the best one can be is readily apparent in the students. When not training or teaching, the atmosphere is very much like a gathering of friends or family. Everyone is warm and inviting. I feel as though I've gained a large extended family through this school and I feel extremely lucky to have found USA Tae Kwon Do School."

"The USA Tae Kwon Do School in Miami is a distinguished school. They teach Self Defense, Respect, Leadership and Discipline. The instructors at the school are very well informed and want you to succeed, not only in Tae Kwon Do, but also in life. They pass out homework assignments for the children class, they teach different calisthenic techniques, forms, self defense techniques, leadership and discipline. But the best lesson they teach every student in the school is to not use these techniques for selfish gain. I've been at this school for about 2 years and learned a lot here as a child and young adult. Overall this school is incomparable to other schools in Miami."
