Ykwon Taekwondo, located at 14285 Southwest 42nd Street in Miami, Florida, is a health institution that offers martial arts training for people of all ages. At Ykwon Taekwondo, we believe that martial arts is more than just physical training - it is a tool to help kids become leaders and develop important life skills. Our instructors enforce strict rules to ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment. Kids who train in martial arts at Ykwon Taekwondo have a higher success rate in school and learn valuable self-defense skills.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer a summer camp program that combines Taekwondo, gymnastics, ninja warrior training, and indoor sports to help children improve their self-confidence. Our goal is to empower families through Taekwondo, fostering physical and mental resilience, independence, health, and self-confidence.
As the owner and Grand Master of Ykwon Taekwondo, I have extensive experience training kids and teenagers and I am passionate about seeing them grow and develop both martial arts skills and personal skills that they can carry for life. We also offer fun activities like movie nights at the studio to raise funds for our upcoming Ykwon Demo Team performances, including a showcase in Times Square, NYC in 2024 to showcase Korean culture.
