North Port Buddha Yoga

North Port Buddha Yoga is a not-for-profit spiritual community, studio, and school located at 2960 Nimbus Drive in North Port, Florida. Our institution is based on the Yogic lineage of Krishnamacharya and Bodhisattva Vows taken by Marianne from HH The Dalai Lama. We are a Yoga Alliance Accredited RYS200 Yoga Teacher School that provides scholarships as a community service. All our programs are offered by voluntary donation.

We offer a variety of yoga and wellness activities for the community, including education and certifications, Forest Bathing Hikes and Walks, classes, private instruction, Course in Miracles and 12 Step Support Groups, Blue Zones and ACIM/Spiritual Coaching from an Ordained Cleric. Our Master Naturalist leads day retreats, workshops, and certifications that include yoga, wilderness education, forest bathing, hikes, tours, and brain games.

Our classes combine various styles of yoga, including Fascial Release Yoga, Yin, Ashtanga, Restorative, and Thai Massage, to engage the mind, body, and spirit for a relaxing experience that cultivates mobility, balance, strength, and inner harmony. We also offer support groups and private spiritual counseling for those interested in transformative Spiritual Psychology.

At North Port Buddha Yoga, we operate on a model of mutual love and support rather than transactional fees. We welcome all who seek illumination, an authentic, healthy lifestyle, and companionship in their spiritual journey.
