"Very pleased with my visit as a first timer. Everything was handled excellently. I went and was greeted by a very friendly waitress who also was exceptionally gorgeous I might add. I enjoyed the small touch of the nice comment and the food was great. I drive by the area, a lot but until now I hadn’t eaten there. His time was takeout but I look forward to dining in soon."

"I love coming to Carolina Ale House to get good food to eat, especially the Buffalo chicken Wrap which is delicious! This is also the bar I always go to, and I came over to get a beer and I was delighted to have Danielle serve it to me. Danielle was attentive, friendly, beautiful, easy going, and presented herself in a proper womanly fashion. If there's another reason I should come again, it's her."

"Tonight was the third subpar meal we've had at the Bird Rd locale, and it will be the last. The food was really bad. We ordered the pretzel app (good), the brisket dip w/ onion soup (meh), and the half-rack of ribs w/fries and slaw (all three terrible). Our waiter was not bad, and the outdoor seating was well kept - but it's not enough to make it worth another visit."

"My server Stiliyan was very courteous and friendly. He was prompt and had a great demeanor. I’ve been to Carolina Ale House on Bird Rd. prior and enjoy being there, it is very lively and entertaining. I enjoy the salads very much and always add the cut grilled chicken to boost the protein. They have indoor and outdoor seating also and it’s very easy to find free parking."

"First time at the Ale House so we had no idea what to expect. The family wanted to watch UM vs. Clemson Football game and this was the closest restaurant to us. We arrived and were seated right away! Our server, Mandie, was heaven sent! Polite, Funny and very Attentive. We informed her it was our first time and asked for some recommendations. Mandie was so knowledgeable and suggested some great options. She advised we order a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with cheese (Just how she would order it for herself) Wow! So fresh, so juicy and absolutely delicious! My husband and I both went with her recommendation and would have another one again! The side of fries were crisp, perfect amount of salt, absolutely delicious! Mandie pretty much spoiled us. Whatever she recommended, We’d order! The spinach dip, fried pickles, French onion soup, burgers, tenders for my little one, Donuts for dessert with Ice cream, Three layered chocolate cake. ALL ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! When we arrived to the restaurant, the Football game we went to watch wasn’t playing on their numerous screens but that changed immediately. Management turned the music down and the game up! We felt like V.I.P.! We were so grateful for their attention to detail and the great service that I asked Mandie to get her manager. I had to personally tell her about our first experience at Carolina Ale House- Gables. Now I’d like potential customers know of this great restaurant. Great management, we LOVED Mandie, everyone was pleased and looking forward to returning."
