"Honestly save your money. Burger isn’t bad but the service is absolutely terrible now. Was not like this before. Extremely disappointed because this use to be the best spot to eat if you wanting something quick and tasty especially when you work at the mall. Now the management is terrible and the employees definitely don’t understand how to just be friendly even when you’re kind to them before you even noticed an issue. I picked up an online order, said thank you to everyone. Came back because they messed up my order and then I was questioned a million times and accused of wanting something I didn’t pay for and was told to pay for it from another employee I wasn’t even speaking to. One person came to check what was wrong and 3 EMPLOYEES, no management, came to make sure that I was telling the truth and asking stupid questions honestly. It was one specific young lady who you can tell brought in outside problems into work and honestly just seemed straight up lazy. The manager I spoke to gave me a refund and asked me what was work but he was the 4th person I spoke to at that point. All I wanted was to get what I paid for which should be easy. The young lady I wasn’t speaking to and the gentleman that was cooking that came to his own defense when I said the burger wasn’t only wrong but burnt, not even overcooked, just straight up crispy puck. I knew I wasn’t going to eat it but the audacity that those two people had was insane. Especially when you can tell they’re not smart enough or nice enough to be customer facing. There was only one nice lady who truly knew how to be an actual human and she was gonna resolve my issue in seconds BUT everything went bad when two individuals who didn’t have to involve themselves were being nosy and made a simple situation worse. The way the manager was speaking to her it was not a first time problem with her. You have a lot of great options in the food court and I would strongly recommend staying away from this place at least for the next few months. Maybe they fire those two bad workers which I hate to say but they should because this isn’t a first time occurrence if you have a protocol you already follow with one specific worker. I’m not sure shake shack has in place a policy in which when you have some out burst you go on a walk. She kept taking back to the manager and talking about how every time someone complains they blame her. Common theme. People who listen first and speak second get more things done. The male manager needs to evaluate his management style but it can’t also be an easy job when you don’t have great staff because you can see he was picking up his employees slack. Corporate should come in randomly or send secret shoppers to get a real feel for this location. Super disappointed. Also after they gave me the double cooked regular like it said on my receipt when I looked at the burger it was, by definition correct, but the burger itself was messy and you can tell it was on purpose and childish. If you’re a food service worker that messes with peoples food you should quit out of your own integrity or get fired. I hope they review cameras. I was there around 4:20PM-4:30PM on 1/18 and look at those cameras. That’s all. I think that’s a better representation of the show that was caused for no reason. It was a to go order that I had to comeback for and they made me wait another 10 minutes after they made all the orders they had in the moment. So yeah decision quality is not there."
"Honestly if you really want a burger I’d go to North Italia or Cheese Cake factory. This is Waffle House vibed in short. All though shake shack tends to be good at all their locations this by far is the most ghetto and trashiest locations. I work at this mall and I’m here all the time. Save yourself the money because true management won’t look you in the eye when they’re employees start acting up and just tell their extremely nosy, ignorant, and not so intelligent employee to go “outside”. Meaning this isn’t a first time issue. This location is hit or miss. The food 6 times out of 10 comes out passable but the other 4 times they might just get the order wrong all together. In terms of price you can get anything at this mall for in terms of food for similar price. The wait time tends to be 10-15 minutes for orders but they’ll do it in less and you’ll have a fresh burnt burger. If you decide to eat here triple check your back so that when they more than likely mess up you don’t have to walk all the way back after you begin eating. They lack simple things such as common sense and empathy. Just a staff of very sad and depressed individuals bringing outside problems in or maybe they lack work ethic or basic education all together. Shake Shack management definitely need a new manager or supervisor because the gentleman who was in charge when I went and tends to be their often is not cut out for this job. No one respects him and he doesn’t hold himself in high esteem as someone in any position of management should be. It looks clean, the brand is great, this location is awful and won’t be surprised if it’s something that gets removed soon. I hope this helps someone save their money. Not my first time trying this place actually have been here unfortunately too often for my cheat meals because it tends to normally be a fast and good tasting burger, under normal circumstances."
"It's ridiculous to wait 25 minutes and see other people who ordered after you get their food and go. We ordered only a 6 piece Chick's Bites and a Non-dairy Chocolate Shake. There is no reason it should take that long. I had to ask about the order after 15 minutes and we got the bites, the shake hadn't been made. It took another 10 minutes for the shake. Completely unacceptable for a fast food, food court place."
"I had a horrible experience today at this location. We used the computer to make our order. Gluten, wheat, and soy allergy was listed. However, there was a misunderstanding. Apparently they said their fries aren’t gluten free. Then they weren’t sure which of the 2 burgers was gluten free. With their unchanged gloves they were touching the burgers and putting them in boxes and switching them. I have a severe gluten allergy that causes neurological symptoms and this location didn’t take my allergy seriously. The two young girls prepping my sandwich were rolling their eyes after I came back to tell them I wanted a refund because I felt unsafe eating the burger. I couldn’t trust if this burger was the gluten free one because they weren’t sure. The manager said I’ll have them make you another one and I told her it’s okay whatever is easier for you. I don’t like to be a pain. But she insisted and asked the kitchen staff to make another gluten free burger. The girl prepping my burger stuck out her middle finger to her manger and told her you have a lot of patience. Why do I have to make another one? The manager made a face to her and told her just do another one. Then the manager proceeded to tell her to change her gloves and wipe down her area. The staff at dadeland needs training on food allergies. Communication and customer service skills needs work. I would have said that Manager handled the situation well if it wasn’t for the faces she made to her employee. It made me feel like I was annoying when I’m really not and I never complain."
