"By far the worst place that I've been to yet. Appointments never on time, if you need medication you call the office and never get a call back and mds are delayed. Changing primary doctor as soon as possible. Been there 3 times and still don't know my primary Doctor I'm very disappointed."

"They make going to the dr. a pleasant experience. From the front desk to the doctors, everyone there is so friendly and made me feel like the most important person in the room. 10/10 would recommend."
"From the moment I walked in the door at Dr. Emlyn Louis medical office in Fort Myers I felt a sense comfort. I was greeted by the front desk medical assistant Ylondra, she was very polite, professional and attentive . Soon after I was taken inside to check my vitals etc. and see DR. Emlyn he was very professional, knowledgeable and he listened to what I had to say. He took the time to get to learn what's going on with my health concerns and explained things and help me to understand. He did not rush me into making any hasty decisions. He gave me examples of alternative treatments to help me feel better. I love that! I would recommend anyone to go and see the doctor. I give him and his staff a 10+."
"The only time I've ever seen Dr Louis was my first visit just to get to know each other. After that, every single time I went, I saw the nurse practitioner so I have no idea how good a doctor Emlyn Louis is. I filled out the form so they could get my information from my previous dr then, the second or third time I went, I was told that they didn't have that information. I said that I filled out the form for them and asked if they wanted me to do it again. She said yes, but then they never gave me the form to fill out before I left. During that visit, I was put in a room that the nurse practitioner said she had trouble with the computer so she put me in a different room. While I waited in that room, I noticed the previous patient's personal information was still up on the computer screen. When I had trouble with my knee, the nurse practitioner sent me for an xray and nothing showed up. She wanted to give me pain meds and a steroid without trying to find out what the actual problem was. I asked for an MRI and she said the insurance probably wouldn't cover it. I insisted that we try anyway and she complied. Then, when the insurance didn't accept it because they wanted me to go to physical therapy first, I never heard from the dr again. I'm over 50 and was told I need a colon cancer screening test, but then was never given one. I got a call a couple weeks later asking for me to send it in. I came in and said I never got one, then they gave it to me. I sent it in like I was supposed to and never heard from them. Now, I need a refill on medication. I called for a refill and was told that I had to come in and see them in person first. I get that it's standard operating procedure, but I wasn't told that I had to come in every 3 months. It's not pain meds or addictive or mood-altering in any way, so I think it's a little ridiculous, but it's their policy. That's fine, but I was never told. If I was, I wouldn't have waited until my last pill before calling for a refill. The nurse practitioner said she told me because in her notes, she had that she told me to come in for a follow-up. That's not the same as saying that I have to come in every 3 months in order to get a refill for a medication that I've been taking for 2 decades. The only reason I don't give 1 star is because the staff has a good attitude and they're pleasant. Other than that, I don't trust this office with any important medical issues. Doing the bare minimum of what's required and disorganization are the best description for what I've dealt with since day 1. I just got new insurance and I'm finding another doctor."
