"My encounter at the psychiatrist’s office proved to be rather challenging. Upon our initial arrival, my parent and I found ourselves waiting significantly longer than the scheduled appointment time. I distinctly recall the air quality within the building feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Once we were eventually ushered into Dr. Huk’s office, my overall experience took a regrettable turn. I am unable to divulge specific details due to the sensitive nature of the information involved. However, it is worth noting that Dr. Huk engaged in unauthorized communications with certain parties to obtain information about me, which was both surprising and unsettling. Furthermore, he persistently broached a topic that I had previously communicated as unsuitable and exhibited a dismissive demeanor during our conversation. In summary, my encounter with Dr. Huk left much to be desired and was marked by discomfort and dissatisfaction."

Long story short, by the second visit, Dr. Huk had a firm grasp on what my sons problem was and why no one was able to help him before. "Yes . I saw hím a few times in the past years . I never had a doctor who charged me $50 Because I cancelled my appointment . I did call and I cancelled the app due to my daughter ‘ s emergency. When I called , staff never mentioned any fees and I reschedueled my appointment right away. They never sent me a Bill . When I was checking out after my reschedueled app they added $50.00 to my co pay . Very unprofessional , disrespectful way to treat your patients after a few years or ever when app is cancelled due to illness . That is not How a Doctor is treating his patients . It is all about the $$$ not the patients well being . Sooo sad . Definetely not gaining Trust ."

"I've been going to Dr. Huk for several years. He is always very thorough and takes the time to discuss any questions I have. I'd say he's got kind of a 'Mr. Rogers vibe'. Certain other reviewers should keep certain things in mind before flying off the handle: 1. If you do not have insurance or your insurance doesn't cover certain services, doctor appointments are going to be costly, especially specialists. This usually applies to ANY specialist you go to. That's just how the healthcare system works. 1.5. Narcotic medication can also be SUPER EXPENSIVE without insurance. The medication I take is $450, my insurance brings it down to $20. If you need someone to blame, blame Big Pharma. 2. Due to new laws that passed in July 2018, you are now legally required to attend an appointment EVERY TIME you need the doctor to write you a new prescription for a controlled substance (i.e. any kind of "narcotic" medication). This one you can blame Rick Scott for, not your doctor."
