"My wife started therapy with Linda Ruf and once therapy started my wife got very violent and dangerous to be around. She was breaking glass tearing up my daughter's toys out of anger and after each session she was worse and worse. I have been married for 9 years and never seen this behavior from her. I emailed Linda asking to please read my email and take a look at what is happening inside my home and she gave the email to my wife. My children had to be flown out of state to stay with family since the environment is so dangerous to be around my wife. Linda does not care about the wellbeing of her clients. She only cares about the money she receives. She has horrible reviews all over. My wife started therapy because of childhood trauma and ended up traumatizing our children even more through Linda's support and guidance."

"I am currently in therapy with the EMDR group and Lynda Ruf being my therapist. I have suffered from my condition for over 30 years and this is the first time that I found that I may actually find a resolution to my issue and be able to enjoy life. A year later i have to say that the therapy i got from Lynda was good until one day i wasn't getting a response for a new appointment. That was back around September 2018. I emailed and left voicemail ls. The woman that got the messages felt sorry for me and called me and told me she didn't know why Lynda was not getting in touch with me as she was still seeing patients and doing her training. I suffer from agoraphobia and OCD. One of my last visits, i had taken an Uber to get there as I don't drive. As you can see jn picture of the business site, Lynda is located jn a small group of businesses. I was her last patient of the day. She went to the restroom and said she had to lock up and go. I left the office and realized as she was leaving that all businesses there were closed. My Uber kept messing up and i was waiting outside for 45 minutes. Scared to death! My ultimate fear, abandonment! Next visit i let her know how long I waited and she said something to the effect of, “well you’re here”. I haven’t done Uber since. Then i kept questioning my statements because i was seeing charges on days i wasn't there. She said United Healthcare didn't pay her enough for the sessions so every now and then the office billed a extra session to try and get the money she wanted. She signed a contract with the health company’s to accept their rates. I called to talk to UHC and was told she is no longer a provider. So after seeing her for a year and a half, I am not better and she added yet one more PTSD to my bucket list and reinforced the ability to trust people. I think shes let money and teaching go to her head and have lost sight of what Francine Shapiro was trying to do for people like me. I hope she can live with herself if she looks back at all the emails i wrote her about a new appointment and not giving me the courtesy to email me back. Lynda also started talking about the fact i was on xanax. I have been on that med for 37 years so when she took me on as a patient, she knew all my health facts."

"My PCP recommended Lynda Ruf's services. I left 5 voice mails over a period of a couple of weeks with no response from her office. During that time, my PCP's office also tried to make contact. EMDR Counseling Associates didn't even have the professional courtesy to return their calls. If they are not taking new patients or whatever, at least have the courtesy to return calls so we can move on. I would give 0 stars if possible in this case."
