Reviews of Pino Ramon E MD
"Dr Diaz ad Dr Pino are both condescending and should not be in healthcare."
"I’ve been a patient of Dr. Pino for a while And apparently he quit so I no longer can be prescribed medication… I wish I was told"
"After waiting a month to get an appointment with Ramon Pino I strongly believe doctors like this should not have even become doctors since they don’t even care to learn about their patients and treat them. I get to the office and bring in my 7 double sided paper work needed to be filled out before the appointment or you must reschedule just to take another questionnaire for 45 mins, then waited to be called back to see Ramon Pino to be told “I don’t prescribe the same way as your other physician if I were you I would go back to see them in Tampa since it’s only a 2 hour drive and continue with them” I was astonished by how much time I just wasted waiting for this appointment without medication and filling out this packet, doing a questionnaire for the first words out of his mouth to be I’m not gonna prescribe the same way they do better to just go back. I responded by asking what would he recommend I do for treatment and he completely dodged the question and said that it’s okay I wouldn’t get charged for the questionnaire if I left before we get into treating. So instead of trying to tell me what he could do instead I was given a choice to be charged to my insurance for an answer or to leave his office and have to spend 4 hours driving to Tampa after working my 40+hour job that I wrote in my packet because I want to establish a doctor in Gainesville where I live. But I chose not to get charged to my insurance for a inconsiderate shouldn’t even be a physiatrist if he doesn’t even take in to fact how he talks to his patients with mental health issues. Do not recommend this for anyone I will now be in search for a physiatrist to get my mental health problem unmedicated. Thank you for not wasting my time Ramon Pino should’ve not wasted it for the last month leading up to your appointment."
"I agree with the lady that said don't waste your mone and bill pusher. Be aware of her charging you no show fees. Each time a copay was paid and then this year a bill was sent from 2010 on standing with outstanding amounts. Why was she still seeing a patient and they did not pay. Pushes bills make them crazy and send them Big Bill's that's how she rolls."
"Only reason I came is because the doctor I had seen for over a year moved and I was referred to this practice to see his wife, but got an appt with him. He showed up in sweatpants & asked me the same questions I already filled out in the new patient packet, but cut me off when I began to elaborate on my answers. Decided after about 5 min that I was on the wrong dosage of my prescriptions despite me telling him my previous Dr and I had found a working balance of medication that I was happy with. He insisted that he is an "expert" in my problems and said I should be taking more vitamins; I see a nutritionist and my general physician has told me not to take more than one of those specific supplements more than once every 5-7 days to prevent liver damage, when I mentioned this to him he told me, "tell them your psychiatrist said to take more, you should be taking them 3 times a day". I am just astounded because he CLEARLY did not read the records my old doctor had sent and decided that after 5 minutes with him and yes/no questions, he has a better evaluation of where I am, than 2 years with a communicative, sympathetic, legitimate psychiatrist; one that actually LISTENS to what my issues are. DO NOT waste your time or money!!! If you want an arrogant "M.D." to give you mediocre medical advice after ignoring everything you said and insist that you are on the verge of a psychiatric break for NO LEGITIMATE REASON (seriously, I think the guy is bored and trying to use patients to fulfill whatever emptiness he has inside him), THEN go book an appointment."
