Reviews of Baptist Primary Care - Orange Park Pediatrics Baptist Clay
"My wife and I had been seeing Dr Trent and Storm. At least a year before covid, every time we call for an appointment, routine check up or whatever, we're told no appointment available. Started using the urgent care, but would call them before going. After my wife got covid, yes she was fully vaccinated, she needed a primary care doctor to follow up from the hospital ICU stay. Called the again, "you haven't been used us in a year," no appointment. Well, we hadn't used you because you have never been there for us. We never needed a appointment the moment we called, but to be put in the schedule. It's funny, we got an appointment at the Baptist Primary across the street, where we had never been. I blame the office staff for miss managing. The staff across the street is much nicer."
"I love Baptist Primary Care. I see Dian Trent and have recommended her to all of my family. She listens to your needs, and she even helped me in the initial stages of getting my cancer diagnosed. Their office is quick to get back to you, and is always kind. Thankful I found a great primary care practice!"
"I have been a patient at this practice with Dr Boyd for several years. I was also his patient before he became Baptist and was very happy with him and the practice until Dr Boyd retired. I saw Dr Tran first and on the first visit he tried to take me off of one of meds I have been on for many years. I tried to explain this to him I am 69 years old and I cannot go without my med. He paid no attention to that and said negative things about Dr Boyd. I refused to see him again and went to Dr Storm who wanted to do the same thing. Neither one of them listened to anything I tried to tell them about the med and at my age it was too late to do any major changing. So I have left this practice because when Dr's stop listening to their patients there is a major problem there."
"A week ago today, we visited the emergency room of Baptist Primary Care. It was determined our daughter needed surgery. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the nurses and doctor that professionally and compassionately assisted us in receiving treatment. Many heartfelt thanks for all that they have done. Sincerely, the Nieves family."
"Simone at the front desk (I believe that's her name) was very nice and helpful. The medical assistant who brought me back (I don't recall her name, I'm sorry) was also very kind. I originally came in because another doctor had a concern about my glucose level and when the MA checked my sugar she reassured me that it wasn't really concerning and that answered all my questions about what's normal as far as glucose levels and blood pressure are. I saw nurse practitioner Dian Trent and I loved that she was kind but also matter-of-fact. At my visit my BP was elevated and instead of immediately putting me on medication she suggested an increase in exercise, a diet change, and to drink more water and follow up to see if my BP is improving. I loved that they are not pill-pushers but instead want to help patients take charge of their own health. The location is amazing and the office was clean and it smelled amazing in there! My sister sees Dr. Storm and she loved him as well. You can't go wrong with this office."
