Reviews of First Coast Pediatrics
"I've been coming here for 10 years for all 3 of my kids now but it's starting to look run down. Maybe some fresh paint, replace the cracked window, replace the broken blinds, and scrub the chairs. I took a baby wipe to the chairs and the dirt and grime was coming off."
"I want to start off by saying the doctor and NP are great. I don’t have any issues with the MA’s during our visits but I’ve just about had it with their scheduler Rene. She can be very helpful when she’s having a good day but if you catch her on an off day she’s a real B. I try to be understanding but I’m exhausted. Please if theirs an office manager this HAS to be addressed. As medical scheduler myself I would not treat patients this way. As soon as I find a doctor to move my kids too I will because I have been only with this office for maybe 8 months and I’ve just about had it."
"I NEVER share bad reviews, but I am honestly so upset by this office. **please read** I have a daughter with ADHD. I do let her get breaks from the meds during weekends and holidays. At our last appt, I was told we had three months before she needs to get re-seen (great, fine). However, the prescription was for 30 days no refill. It was fine as it was prescribed end of Oct . With Thanksgiving break and Christmas break, I was able to spread that 30 days until mid Jan. I called to confirm the next appt (Jan 25th) and asked if I can get the 7 days prescription to cover the week before our visit (mind you, I only got one 30 day!). They left a message for the dr and called me back several hours later. However, the dr denied it. I explained how we were only given a 30 day and no refills. Come to find out (which was NEVER TOLD TO ME). If I didn’t call by Nov for the next prescription then they would not fill it. I was livid. My daughter has STARR testing this week, and does terrible on testing if she does not have her medication. This doesn’t make sense. I was not asking for a full prescription, just enough to make to the next appointment. I am so upset and we will absolutely not be going back to this office. It wasn’t the nicest office and the dr was difficult to understand. I am so disappointed by them."
"This has been our pediatrician since our oldest was a baby, so going on a decade. Now they are helping us navigate the complex road to getting an autism diagnosis for our youngest. Every step of the way they have been there not only for our kids but for us as well. Jessica has been at the front desk for as long as i can remember and it's always so understanding and goes out of her way to help every chance she gets. We absolutely love the entire staff. First Coast Pediatrics, I only wish i could give more stars. Thank you!"
"Practice has went downhill fast over the years staff constantly changes, it's always someone new. Everyone looks burnt out, no one stays and honestly the assistants don't look comfortable doing their skills. Also the restroom is so filthy it's embarrassing. The mirror is filthy, there is no paper towels in the holder and it smells. The waiting room is also dirty and muggy feeling. They definitely need a face lift. The level of care seems to be lacking also and alot of miscommunication going on."
