This review is primarily about the staff in Dr. Dahlborg's office, although, staff behavior should be a function of the overall office emotional environment which I believe is set by the doctors practicing there. In TWO attempts to request a refill on a prescription, I waited 2 hrs on hold on Friday 1/26 until I finally left a request for a call-back by 'pressing 1'. A call back was never received neither Friday nor Monday. On Tuesday, I again attempted to call and when I reached 45 minutes of wait time, I got in my car to go to the office and personally request a refill. Needless to say, I was not happy, but the attitudes of the receptionist staff (plural) was appalling to say the least. Instead of attempting to solve the unacceptable problem of a patient, I was viewed as the problem itself. In fact, I was sent to 'the principal's office' like naughty child. The office manager chastised me for my behavior. I WILL find another doctor with a competent staff. Carol M - January 30, 2024"

"I will never ever bring my baby to this doctor and her nurse Sandy ever again! I asked to spread out my baby’s immunizations and come to find out when I went to a new pediatrician they gave me the print out from Florida shots and my baby was given a combo shot which included 5 of the vaccines. I was told at the office she was only getting two shots and the oral RV vaccine. So my baby was supposed to have an upcoming appointment for her “remaining” “3 shots” the nurse sandy called me to cancel because she said Dr. Dahlborg wasn’t in the office so I said aren’t you the one that administers the shots why do I need to see dr. Dahlborg, then she corrected herself and said well we don’t have one of the vaccines we only have 2 of the 3 vaccines she said! LIES!!!! My baby only needed one more vaccine not 3! Also when you call the office it takes a minimum of half hour to get someone on the phone at reception desk. And if you need a call back from the nurse it’s a minimum 2 hours you’re waiting. And then once at the office you wait anywhere from a half hour to an hour for your baby to be seen! Never again they are the worst. And Dahlborg needs better bed side manner she didn’t take an interest in my baby at all it was like she was being inconvenienced."

"The doctor was great, trying to exit was waiting on a card with my child's visit schedule and I turned around to let my child in the restroom. Turned back and an older lady went in to the desk. Instead of saying I was being helped, she stopped my account and helped the lady. I waiting a bit, now they were on lab work, I asked over the lady am I done. The employee said no, but I said I am and left. This was so stressful I needed some tums. Will call next fall for the appointment. But be aware they can be very rude."

"I saw Dr. Dahlborg for the first time today, and was so impressed. Loved the receptionist, Casey, loved the nurse, Sandy, and Dr Dahlborg actually spoke directly to me, was caring and friendly, which I haven’t been able to find in Sarasota since moving here 4 years ago. So happy!"

"My daughter went here for chronic constipation. No real interest, no accurate diagnosis, no apparent understanding or particular care. Simply a total waste of time and money. Since, we have gone to a proper specialist who has isolated the problem and begun treatment and results. When a doctor gives diagnosis "irritable bowel" - red flag to go to a specialist who understands gut biome and how to treat it."
