"Used to be a good doctor. No more. Horrible service."
"I could not see my usual Dr Montoya, so i agreed to see Enas. The minute she walked in the room she focused on my double pink eyes. I told her i was sick since 4 days before with chills body aches and sore throat even though i felt decent that day. I asked if it could be flu? She said maybe but the rest of the visit was focused on my pink eye. Never once did she look at my ears or throat. 2 days later i call to ask about all of this as my throat is still sore. She was going to put me on a tele call that I would have to pay for!! I feel she should’ve checked all of this in the office when I was in 2 days earlier! Not happy! Will stick with Dr Montoya. If not for him i would leave this office"
"I wish we could give Dr. Sallam more than 5 stars. She has been our pediatrician and family physician for 20 years. She is extremely intelligent, up on the latest medical information, she is kind, listens to our concerns and we feel like family when we see her. We brag about her ability to diagnosis a rare genetic disorder for our oldest child. She gets us in to see her and is always happy to see us. Dr. Sallam is the absolute best!"
"She has been my Internal MD for about 14 years. She’s very friendly and I do trust her decision’s that she’s giving me for my health care. She’s not only nice Doctor, but also very caring parson. And I’m lucky to find her as my Doctor for so long!"
"Dr. Sallam is nice, genuine, and intelligent. I was super excited to have picked her as the pediatrictian for my first child. I was a first time mom and a pediatrician that made me feel comfortable and not stupid was important to me. But Dr. Sallam disappointed me in many ways. The first experience I had calling after hours was when my infants umbilical cord stump started bleeding. I had no idea if it was infected or if bleeding was normal. Dr. Sallam didn't call me back for 2 1/2 hours, and when she did, her voice and word choice over the phone made me feel stupid. It was almost like she had an attitude like "you really called for this?" Like I said, I was a first time mom and had no idea! Another time, my daughter was around 6-7 months old. When Dr. Sallam walked into the office, and she said "Aw look at him! How is he doing?" She called my daughter a boy. This bothered me because I felt like at this point you should know who we are. Okay, so doctors are busy, maybe they won't actually recognize us or know us by name, but can you at least check the chart before we come in? I was so uncomfortable correcting her. I feel like a doctor should know their patients. Anytime I brought up things I was concerned with (lip tie, tongue tie, eczema) she always referred me to a specialist. I'd have to travel, spend money, take off work, and then when I would go to the specialists, they would send me back and say "I don't know why she sent you here". But what really hit the nail on the head which is the reason why I left and removed my child from her care was that she instructed and signed for the WRONG vaccine to be administered to my child. I CAUGHT THE ERROR, told the nurse my child had already had all doses for that vaccine, the nurse left and came back and laughed it off and said "yeah she just signed the wrong one!" They never apologized or anything. Do you know how dangerous that is??? I was so mad. Also, the nurses are rude and scare your children. One nurse crossed my daughters arms and held them down so tight she was crying BEFORE even being adminstered a vaccine. And you WANT mothers to vaccinate? And you WANT children to not be scared?? This is not the way to do it. Sometimes we wouldn't even see Dr. Sallam. Once or twice we had other doctors, that didn't really bother me except for the fact they would never answer my questions. One told us he had to watch my daughter for 15-20 minutes after a vaccine. I asked why? And he said just because. Obviously theres a reason, and the reason was probably because the vaccine has side effects that are potentially dangerous. Not being truthful with patients because you think you are saving them from being worried is not the way to go about things. I expect open and honest communication. Also, if you expect walk-in appointments like where you wake up and your child has a 103 fever, just don't. They don't do walk ins, and the time I showed up at opening to ensure I got my daughter in, they turned me away. I begged for them to squeeze her in, she was 13 months and couldn't breathe out her nose and was miserable. She was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and croup. Why do I have to beg for my daughters doctor to see her? Anyways, you get the point. This was a lot longer than I thought it would be."
