"If I could give this eye place a 0, I would. It is my right as a human being to refuse eye dilation not only for myself, but for my children. Because I had refused dialation, she told me to go back to “ eye glass world. “I had asked Tiffany Krueger if she knew what ingredients were in the drops, she said no. She then asked if I knew them and I stated I did. One of the ingredients listed can cause chemical burns that can be severe. It can cause blindness. SO WHY WOULD I PUT THIS IN MY CHILDS EYES? & that is only one ingredient… How can you work in a place serving humans, and not know what you are dropping into their bodies/eyes? So because I refused this poison, she asked me to leave and would not prescribe new glasses after the exam even though she stated he needed new ones based off decrease in one eyes with his vision. Walking out, she then questioned if I know what kind of food my child was eating? Are you serious? I stated I dont put poison in my kids eyes. I kindly asked for the exam papers for my child to the lady at the front desk and when I received them , it had notes stating that I was rude. It did not fully describe that she refused glasses or that she did not herself know what ingredients she was wanting to drop into my sons eyes. To think someone was being rude because they think for themselves and questioned a Dr if they knew what was in the medication being dumped into children’s eyes, is unacceptable and sad. When I asked for those notes that only stated that I was rude - to be removed, the woman at the front counter was extremely rude with me and stated this was okay because I was rude? I do not know who she even was but she was clearly in defense over a situation she had no knowledge of. I then pointed to my child to let her know to basically relax and do not speak to me that way with him there. I had my child with me the entire time, remained calm and collective and he was very well aware of me speaking up for our rights and choices. If I was being seen for being rude for speaking up for what I agreed with and did not agree with, then I’ll take that as a win. Tiffany then stood by my side while I was asking for the notes to be adjuster, and she said it was time for me to leave. She walked me to the door and the lady at the counter told me to cut around them if I did not like that. Very unprofessional. This is what the world has come to… I knew the second that I had to stay in my car for the check-in process, that this is a Dr lives in fear & doesn’t think for herself or care enough to have the knowledge of ingredients before putting them into any human beings eyes. When you think for yourself and stand ground, you look crazy and rude. Welcome to the new world - if you care about your kids eyes & your own, research first always. Ive denied dilation for 20+ years and this was my first experience like this. P. S. PER THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OPHTHALMOLOGY: a provider cannot mandate a patient to do a pupil dilation but if needed would explain why to the patient. If the patient still refused dilation, the provider would likely document that the patient refused dilation. Mind you, my child’s note for school also stated he had his eyes dilated. HE DID NOT! I wish I had read all the reviews prior to this visit. We just moved to this area and not being able to go to our local eye doctor was already hard enough. This Dr has been given multiple reviews about having bad bedside manner, being cold hearted, rude and so forth - as well as not been professional - as well as her staff. This is very heartbreaking that we trust these people going in for something as simple as glasses , only to be denied glassware for a child who needs their lenses corrected. Ive gotten my son glasses for 13 years with never having to dilate. That should never be an issue... We will find better!"
"My son has albinism and had several issues other doctors ignored. Dr Kruger has addresses every issue and his corrective eye surgery went well. All the staff is welcoming and the office is well maintained."
"My daughter recently saw Dr Kruger d/t having increased inter cranial pressure, I could not be more pleased with the office, the Doctor, and the staff. The office called me the same morning that they got her MRI scans back for results. I would recommend Dr Kruger to anyone. I only gave 5 stars because it won’t let me give 10."
"The staff at this office was great with my almost 3yr old. We go back for his follow up in 2 months and are very excited. I do recommend that for smaller children to bring something to entertain them. The health and safety of their patients and staff is a priority. Due to covid I completed some brief new patient paperwork in the car on my phone before entering the building. We also waited in the vehicle while the dilation drops settled until a room was available. We were happy to follow these safety steps, but for the follow up I'll be sure to have a couple toys with me :)"
"Very nice doctor. She is always patient with my squirmy son who doesn't like doctors. Great at explaining the procedure to check my sons eyes. Keeps me informed about his progress. She decorated the office herself which I think is beautifully done. The whole atmosphere is perfect to help calm a worried kid and help them feel at home and relaxed. I'd recommend this doctor to someone needing some eye work done."
