"The principal and the staff lack moral character, and empathy,the administrative staff lacks education on thier roles they should be in. It's a st lucie school so don't expect much from it. My son should have never left kindergarten but they just push them through. I have 0 faith in this school or in the staff at this school. It's a charter school but at the end of the day it's a D rated school right along with the other St Lucie Schools..."

"Somerset Academy St. Lucie is more than a school it’s a family, it’s a safe haven, and a home away from home for its students. This is my son’s second year at SASL and we couldn’t be happier. He has flourished in their supportive environment . If your child has an IEP SASL is the place to be. The ESE department is amazing, I can e-mail the director and get a response within 24 hours. If my child is struggling at all, she sets up a meeting between me and the teachers and we figure out a plan. The support staff treats your children like their own children and know them by name. When you walk in you are greeted with warmth and kindness. The only downfall is it’s not a K-8! We don’t want to leave SASL!! I cannot say enough good things about our school!!"

"This is our 3rd year at Somerset Academy, I have 2 children attending the school. We liked the school immediately from our first tour and meeting the administration. We like that it is a Charter school, but also free (K-5). The preschool program has done a great job of introducing school structure to our kids and how to interact with other students. The school also focuses on social emotional intelligence, which I really appreciate. The teachers are always in communication with you whenever you have questions or concerns. Several avenues of communication including a texting app, facebook, email and website ensures you are always informed of what's going on in the school (if you take the time to check the information.) It is a tight knit, smaller school, which I like. They always have fun events and fundraisers going on. I would recommend this school to anyone."

Staff is extremely supportive; principal is down to earth and upfront; kids are well behaved and involved."

"Great school! I have 3 kids there and we were there before Somerset took it over. We love Somerset! The teachers have been amazing with communication and admin is easy to reach. There are many forms of communication and each year it gets better and better! There is a very active PTSO that is working hard to support the school and continue to make this an amazing school in PSL. Great Principal, Great Teachers and Great Parents. :). I highly recommend!"
