"I needed a copy of my mammogram results and I have been calling the center for 2 weeks, every time I call I get a recording asking me to call back. I then called the center and dialed “0” to ask to speak to the clinic director, the line rang and rang and just disconnected. This is unacceptable!!!!!!! We are dealing with health issues and in this modern day, you shouldn’t make it an impossibility for your patients to access their own medical records on a timely basis. I live in the Miami area and work in Weston, having to physically get my records entails time, money, loss of revenue and, since I am in the medical field, not being able to see my own patients. I should not be placed in this position!"
"My mom has been a patient for the past year and a half under the care of Dr Slomovitz. From the moment we came in, the team has been supportive and attentive to her needs. Michelle McClosky has been an amazing clinician, always answering all questions with patience and empathy. Yaritza in the office always makes sure everything is sorted out before we get to her appointments and has been great support for coordinating things. In the infusion suites Mario and Gladys have been our absolute angels. Mario is such a great nurse, ensuring she feels safe when she’s not feeling her best. My mom trusts him with eyes closed which is no small feat. Gladys is a case on her own. I have no words to describe how much her smile and infectious energy have changed our experience during this long journey. If you could have more people like her it would make the experience of all patients even better. I can’t thank her enough for her energy in being an advocate for my mom, securing her a comfortable place for long infusions, or warm blankets even before we ask for them, popping in and asking how could she be of help, etc. The list of how she is a ray of sunshine is truly endless. After the initial shock and sadness of the cancer diagnosis we would have never imagined that coming in for chemo would include smiles, and even laughter at times. It is my wish that if you have to walk this road you have as amazing a team as we’ve had in the cancer center. Some constructive criticism would be to please speak with the front desk (infusion center-Saylen/Sylgen, I don’t recall her name accurately) She has a less than friendly demeanor which is regrettable since everyone else is so polite and warm. A reminder that people who come to this center usually don’t come because they *want* to, rather they have to be here due to an often devastating diagnosis. I’ve reserved my thoughts on this person but after a year and a half I don’t see an ounce of improvement in the treatment of patients and have experienced this person being rude to patients and members of the staff. I hope management will take this information and address the issues described. This is coming from a place of wanting to make the experience better for patients not of harming anyone."
"Miami Beach, The service at the cancer medical center is terrible, All the managers director , employees do not know what they are doing. I can tell you that 5 years ago the services were different, there was never a problem. Every time you arrive there are different employees who don't know what they are doing. I hope they can improve that service. Thank you"
"Mount Sinai - Miami Beach Infusion Center / Cancer Center The facility needs a deep cleaning. The patients area are not clean, some of the chairs are covered with vomit, the facility sometimes have a strong order. The medical assistants should be trained to call patients beyond the exam room threshold, since the waiting area extends all around. It’s quite difficult to hear your name being called for your appointment. When checking out there needs to be more privacy. The doctor is personable. My review is based on three separate visits and this issues are consistent with every visit."
"Receptionist Tania is plain rude. No respect towards patients nor her coworkers. I overheard her confronting her colleague over something personal, made me feel very uncomfortable. She definitely needs to be pulled to the side have this brought up to her attention. A side from me having to wait 1 whole hour from my appointment time, making me miss another Dr appointment, Dr.Mudassani is great."
