"I was seen by this doctor in the hospital diagnosed with an infected kidney stone and sepsis. He let me go home without zero testing done to make sure the infection was gone after giving one round of antibiotics. The nurses at the hospital told me I needed to follow up with him. I called the Monday after getting out and was told since this was a hospital case the medical assistant would have to be the one to make the appointment. Thursday comes and I still hear NOTHING and I call and the medical assistant was out sick that day and noone else could help me. I call back Friday the next day morning and she was there but would not talk to me. I beg that I need an appointment because I'm still having issues and the front desk lady was rude and told me that I won't hear anything until Monday. Well here it is Thursday the following week (2 weeks of trying to get an appointment) and still NOTHING. This is no way to run a practice. These people don't care anything about your health. I definitely will NOT be going here for care."

"The surgery Dr. Baker performed on my mom went well, and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating to her. He told us to call the office to make a follow-up appointment to remove her catheter but the front desk girls do not answer the phone - ever. It's impossible to call the office. You have to go there in person in order to reach anyone. I left multiple voicemails but no one returned my calls. I called and waited 45 mins for "the next available representative" to answer the call, but no one did."
"I made the very difficult choice to find a new doctor after 1 month of interacting with the Dr. & his staff at this office. I only interacted with Dr. Baker 2x briefly in the hospital and once in his office 5 days after I was released from the hospital. The staff are rude, they block communication with the doctor, they do not treat people like patients who are under their care, they treat them like a number with no regard to how their errors or lack of communication will impact the well being of their patients. There is no portal or email that I'm aware of to communicate. I experienced multiple incompetencies from all staff (administrative, medical assistant, nurse practitioner and even Dr. Baker (via his NP). The offices are extremely outdated and dirty. I ultimately decided I did not feel safe under the care of this Dr. and his staff."
"This place deserves ZERO stars; unfortunately, I had to select 1. I called numerous times, only to wait on hold for about 5 minutes each time & then transferred to voicemail. I left numerous messages & NEVER received a return call! When I finally spoke with a person, Courtney, she was very helpful & understanding; however, when she tried transferring me to the Office Manager, Mindy, Courtney actually transferred me to Kim, Billing, who was unable to help me with a quote, stating ONLY Mindy can provide that information. Therefore, I had to call back & wait on hold again for another 5 minutes. Finally Rachel answered, who was the RUDEST person I have spoken with in years!! When Rachel answered, I immediately asked to speak with the Office Manager, Mindy, because according to my insurance company and Kim, within Billing, the Office Manager, Mindy, will be the ONLY person who can provide a quote for the Consultation & Procedure. However, Rachel would NOT transfer me & continued to say I needed to call my insurance. I told Rachel, I had called the insurance twice, & they are unable to provide this information, ONLY the Office Manager/Billing can. I asked to speak with Courtney, and Rachel said NO! Rachel stated the "SHE" has more experience the Courtney. Furthermore, Rachel stated she will not transfer me to Mindy & then stated how much the office would charge the insurance for the Consultation & Procedure, but absolutely would not provide a quote. I do not care if Dr. Mark B. Baker has four and half (4½) stars, I would NEVER return due to Rachel, even if the doctor did the Consultation & Procedure for free."
