"I am so grateful for this organization. Mercy Support and its staff are wonderful. I was a little apprehensive of seeking them out because most organizations lack professionalism and compassion. However, I was blessed to have Danielle Bridges work with me. She was absolutely wonderful. She eeducatd me on the program and walked me through the entire process. She listened to me and understood my needs and used a significant amount of empathy. She never judged me. I am so grateful for Danielle and the entire Mercy Support organization. Mercy Support is definitely a blessing."

"I’m writing as to my inquiries about assistance with my water bill. I had reached out on October 25th 2023 because I was needing assistance with my water bill. I had a leaking pipe and wasn’t aware of it. My water bill had exceeded to above $600.00. Due to financial hardships I had not been able to pay this off. I paid $200 which brought my bill to a little over $480.00. Brandi Tuck reached out to me about my inquiry and let me know that I needed to pay this down to $200 because that is all Mercy could help me with. I proceeded to pay $280.00 and reached out and Brandi Tuck wrote “WE ARE UNABLE TO ASIST WITH YOUR BILL. WE ARE OUT OF FUNDING. I APOLOGIZE, PLEASE TRY CALLING YOUR LOCAL CHURCHES TO SEE IF THEY CAN ASSIST.” This is copy and pasted from my email. I’m writing because I feel like this was very unprofessional and unkind. I was relying on that help with my water bill and I felt like Brandi was not very kind through our communications about helping me. She made me feel like I was bothering her and treated me like I was lower than her. Especially the message with all caps I don’t understand what was going on with that. I’ve heard great things about this non profit and was hoping they could assist me when I was going through a hardship. This was my first time ever reaching out and unfortunately I had a bad experience with it all. I feel like my inquiry was not taken seriously or with consideration. I was hoping to speak with or escalate this to higher management but no one has reached out me to me in regard to this."

"I really feel like the employees at this organization discriminate against applicants in need of services... I was going through a divorce just started a job a few months before applying for this assistance program and they wanted to scan through my bank records with a magnifying glass 6 months prior. Which is totally unfair because 6moths prior I was receiving financial assistance from my spouse who made an astronomical amount of money. I can't go any deeper into this horrible experience with this so called "Mercy" service which claims to be a Christian agency/ organization but refused to help a divorced single mother with 3 minor children. I would not recommend their services to anyone because they seem to be very selective/discriminative on whom they help. They told me to my face they would help me just locate a place for the amount they approved and when I called them to let them know I've located a place they stopped answering calls and emails. But some how sent me a letter 4-5months later saying I didn't qualify for their services. The employees at this building maintain a wonderful facade but underneath their smiles and down to earth demeanor are heavy on discrimination."
