Reviews of Dr. Danelle K. Chambers, MD
"Great doctor, compassionate, and an incredible surgeon. She took care of my teenage daughter. She did a phenomenal job addressing my daughter’s concern about having a scar on her body. We went through multiple visits where she was monitoring the issue. Every time we go for a visit, my daughter goes in with so much anxiety, and comes out of her office so relaxed and her fears are gone. When she did a biopsy, and we were waiting for the results, she didn’t wait until Monday to relay the results, she called us on Sunday evening to do so. When the time has come to go through the surgery, she did it with such care and precision knowing how much having a scar weighed on a teenager’s mind. When she came out of surgery, my daughter took her first look at the scar and got so emotional. She was so happy that the scar was so unnoticeable. We knew that she took her time and did her best to keep that scar so small. My daughter wasn’t just another patient to her, she cared for her as if she was her daughter, and for that, we are forever grateful. I can’t forget to recognize the staff, they were very friendly and caring especially the nurse that attended to my daughter during surgery. Thanks you so much for everything. You truly make a difference in this world."
"Dr. Chambers did an excellent job during my surgery. I am 70 years old and she is the first doctor to personally call me at home to see how I was doing. Thank you Dr. Chambers!"
"Dr Chambers was recommended to me by a doctor. Dr Chambers diagnosed me and treated me with an incredibly accurate and sharp focused knowledge. She performed a procedure on me with fabulously steady hands. Being a surgeon myself, I am grateful for the luck I had in becoming her patient. Steady hands, laser sharp focus, kindness and caring all in one surgeon. Not to mention that my condition was misdiagnosed and subsequently not treated by several other good surgeons for over 5 months. She did all this in one visit of about 10 minutes. :-) YES!! A million times YES!!!"
"Dr. Chambers is changing my life, she's a true blessing. I came to her 20+ months after being discharged from an enormous catastrophic medical event, which left me living in great pain, as well as dysmorphic issues, in several areas of my body since I'd been discharged. And, while I originally came to her for another reason, while there I briefly told her about my pain(s) - only briefly describing what had happened to me, and one by one, each time I see her, she not only lets me know that she has the ability to help me with specific areas of pain and well ... horror (for me), but she's actually doing it. Dr. Chambers is a surgeon, and we all know the saying "surgeon's only want to do surgery" .... well, that's not the case with Dr. Chambers. Everyone else I told about my pains and issues, all either said they couldn't help, or wanted to discuss surgery immediately. Dr. Chambers didn't. Anything she was able to do quickly, with as much ease as possible and without bringing me into surgery (which she hasn't as of yet), she did. Now, I'm not saying that Dr. Chambers wouldn't want to, or doesn't suggest surgery to her patients, she's a surgeon, and if surgery is necessary, I venture to guess she is going to suggest it immediately; however, what I am saying is that she's an incredibly compassionate Dr., who will avoid surgery if surgery isn't necessary and that she cares greatly about what a patient in her care is going through and genuinely tries to help as quickly and easily as possible ... not to be confused with her extreme concern of more worrisome issues, or something she finds more disturbing medically - she's watching areas of those concerns for me as well - and I have no doubt that she will take excellent care of me should those areas require her to treat me. I trust her greatly, and I've only just met her ... and have seen my share of surgeons over the past few years - more than most. She truly cares, you can see it in her eyes, hear it in her voice, watch it in her actions and notice it so easily when she walks into your room - the "hurry up I have another patient waiting" isn't a feeling you get from Dr. Chambers .... she's a gem, much like the Dr.'s of old. I read a comment regarding her receptionist or waiting times - and I'd like to comment on that as well. For one, what doctor's office in today's world doesn't have waiting times, phones ringing off the hook and multiple scheduling at the same time? None - not one. Dr. Chambers is in great demand, a highly respected and sought after surgeon/Dr., therefore she has a very large patient load. And, with regard to her receptionist ... can you just imagine the amount of patients, paperwork, coverage checking, referral checking, check-ins, check-outs, scheduling and phone calls she must have to answer? I find her to be very nice, extremely professional and someone who takes the time to answer many questions, while so many patients are all requiring her attention, waiting simultaneously, and phones are ringing non-stop. We'd all like to see slow paced doctor offices, one person scheduled at a time and no waiting times - as was the case a few decades ago ... medicine was different, life was different .... but those days are gone, and you know who would probably like to see those things back more than we, the patients, would? The receptionists. Every situation is different; however, if in the realm of Dr. Chambers, I highly recommend her as a one of a kind in the world of medicine today. 5 told stars and 2 thumbs up - she's a blessing."
"Dr. Chambers is one of the most caring, professional, and wonderful surgeons I have ever met. She has operated me on multiple times, is wonderful with answering all questions, easing any fears, and providing top-notch follow up care. She is one of the best surgeons I have ever had, and I cannot thank her and her wonderful office staff for all their help."
