"Dr was great and informative! Nurse or Tech that took us into the room was uneducated. She needs to educate herself on how to take blood pressure and how important it is to get an accurate reading. I was shocked at the response I received when I reminded my mom to uncross her legs to get a better reading. I was told it’s an “old wise tale and it doesn’t matter if legs are crossed or not.” I let her know my daughters cardiologist would say otherwise and she proceeded to say it only changes it a few points it doesn’t make a big difference. Actually it makes a world of difference for someone monitoring their BP! A persons systolic can increase when legs are crossed while taking their BP."

"Sent me home symptomatic and this abnormal blood work. Told me he’s never seen bloodwork like this in his thirty years of practice and I should come back in six months. No referral to another Doctor, no looking into my condition, nothing. In those six months I got worse and ended up losing my balance and couldn’t stand without swaying. I looked into my abnormal labs myself and went to another Doctor, turns out I had severe B12 deficiency anemia and it had gone on so long that it was affecting my spinal cord. I’ve been receiving shots but have lingering side effects and am disabled and can’t work and I’m only in my thirties. If he had caught this in time and treated me my life wouldn’t be over now. He was nice enough but sending a patient home with a plethora of symptoms and abnornal labs is irresponsible to say the least!"
