"Great dr.very help full his team and him excellent and there still helping my husband"
"Not sure what others wrote about Dr. Martinez but me and my father had a bad experience with him. We noticed his demeanor right away, he seemed very uninterested in what my father had to say. (He did not shook our hands) He was shaking his leg as if he was in a hurry to get up. He did not relate to my dad's story, he made no comments about what he had to say. He focused on the medical records that he received from my father's previous hospital stay. My father had refused treatment so we could leave the hospital and so I can bring him home (out of state) and for other reasons. The first thing he said when he walked in and sat down was "why did you refused treatment" followed by negative comments. Knowing that those comments can affect the patients state of mind and possibly fall into a depression. Dr. Martinez seemed to forget that patients have RIGHTS and one of those RIGHTS is to refuse treatment for whatever reason. So he took that and used it against my father. Also speaking negative about his condition he was NOT empathetic at all. My father has stage 4 cancer. Dr Martinez simply told him that his illness had no cure and that all he could do was TRY to control it. Very cold ! Also when I was looking for the medicaid number to give to the receptionist I noticed the director or office manager ( a blond lady) getting up from her chair telling the receptionist that we "needed to speed things up" snapping her fingers at her. That was my first impression of the office, after that I just got a bad vibe and then noticed this doctors demeanor/attitude. We were thrown off and I told the receptionist that we did not like him and we will never go back there. We also filled out a survey about our experience. Moral of the story know your rights as patients and if the doctor throws you off never return. They wont care about you not returning. It's all business to them ."
