"Finally had my Mom go into Assisted Living finally at age 92 and it’s in St. Petersburg on the bay! She is so happy and feels very comfortable there after just the first week! John, Royce, Ashley and her daughter are all like members of your own family! Floor nurses and staff and so helpful and positive. My Mom thinks she is a big deal now “with her staff”! Wonderful Place here in St. Pete!"

"I am writing to share my recent experience with Addington Place at College Harbor. After visiting several assisted living facilities in the area we had decided Addington would be a great place for my father when he completed rehab. We picked out a room and then had to wait for it to be redone but figured by the time the room was ready Dad would be discharged from his current rehab facility. Unfortunately my fathers health took a turn for the worst and we felt the current facility was unable to provide him with the care he required. I decided to call Royce at Addington to see if he could provide any advice, he listened to my concerns and said “ Bring Dad here, we can take care of him”. After introducing me to the skilled nursing staff Dad was transferred to Addingtons skilled rehab floor. Every person who interacted with us was kind, caring, and helpful, from the front desk staff, Professionals, paraprofessionals, and the housekeeping staff, they all made Dad feel at home. We were always kept up to date on Dad’s health care and therapy as well as the progress of Dad’s future assisted living apartment. While Dad was in skilled rehab, we never felt out of touch or wondered what was going on. I never felt I had to fight for dad to get care, He was always clean and comfortable any time we visited. Dad really liked the food as well. Every time I went there to visit I noticed there were so many lovely activities going on at any given time and how many of the residents were active. It was so nice to see. Sadly our time at Addington Place was short as Dad’s health rapidly declined. Through it all the Addington staff always treated my father and the rest of my family with compassion and kindness. I can not stress how great my experience was. If you are in need of care, the Addington is the place to go."

"After my father’s stay at Addington a few years back, we knew by the care and friendliness of most of the employees where Mom would like to stay someday.Beautiful surroundings with great views. Now that she is moved in, Mom is home and the front office is more than happy to make your loved ones stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you all"

"My mother-in-law was a resident at Addington Place for 6 years. During that time my husband and I were extremely happy with the care that she was provided throughout her years there. She loved her beautiful apartment overlooking the water and watching the dolphins. The social environment and dining facilities were top notch. We have to give a special thanks to Beverly and John in the management office with always being there to help my mom with her living needs as her care changed over the years. Also, we can’t say enough about Buffy and Ashley, on the nursing staff. They were truly mom’s lifeline whenever she needed help. If we had concerns, they were always available to discuss and follow up for us. Mom passed away this past March. Prior to her passing, while at the hospital, her wish was to get back to Addington to spend her final days. Just being back in her “home” with all her friends near made her last days peaceful. Addington provided the comfort and care we should all be so lucky to get in the last chapters of life. Thank you Addington."

"Addington Place welcomed my parents to Independent Living five years ago. When the time came, the wonderful, caring staff helped them age them into Assisted Living. My dad spent his last years in Long-term Care, where he was treated with dignity and respect, while mom continued to enjoy her spacious apartment with a view. A series of falls has sadly necessitated a move to a Memory Care facility elsewhere. I would not hesitate to recommend Addington Place to those seeking a safe, comfortable home for aging loved ones."
