"Dr. Ebrahim is fantastic. However it is not acceptable when my appointment is scheduled for 8:00 am and the office staff shows up at 7:56 and has the usual water station conversation for a bit and then decides to check in patient’s. Going on 8:30 for an 8:00 appointment and still have not even been called back where there will be another waiting period. I understand the Doctors time is valuable, however the patients time is valuable as well."
"My Telehealth appt. was scheduled for 9 a.m. it was on the books for six months. I was told that it would probably be closer to 2 p.m. before he would call. That, I would just have to wait around until he called. That is totally and completely unacceptable and unprofessional. After 5 phone calls to BayCare customer assistance, I was finally assured that my appt. time would be honored. The appt was to scheduled to tell me the results of my CEA blood test which I had already seen weeks before in my patient portal. Indeed, after all my phone calls to very helpful customer service, I was told “an exception would be made in my case.” That’s awful news for all the other patients who have to wait and wait and wait. That is a totally unacceptable practice. After all this, my Telehealth visit lasted 4 minutes and 50 second. I will never use Telehealth again. My compliments to the customer service representatives who helped me wade though this. Even as I write this, I can’t imagine that a doctor thinks it’s okay to arbitrarily make patients wait up to 5 hours for their scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, I am at the mercy of the system, as he is the only oncologist available to me. I’m stuck. Jan L. Kokochak"
"This office and physician are such a very caring staff and even go beyond expectations. I trust them fully to every extent you could imagine. The compassion I felt like a person and not just a number. I have a rough road ahead but I know this and to have these people support and rally and make sure you get the best care while going through such a difficult diagnosis and even love the radiation oncologist they referred me to and I just don't have enough words to let them know how much positive support they show me. I'm ready to fight my battle with a team I trust is just the icing on the cake. Thank you to everyone involved ❤️"
