"I recently established care with Dr. Hopper as a new patient who is high risk. The initial appointment was great up until I found out I was pregnant a week ago. Since I am high risk and had 4 previous losses, one at 28-weeks, and experienced an incompetent cervix with my son I think I am entitled to a different level of care then the standard patient. I tried calling 3x on a Monday and never got a live person until after 4pm, when I sent a message in the portal. You see with my son’s pregnancy I had specific medication and shots that I was required to start taking immediately which evidently worked as he is here today! When I asked for the prescriptions to be placed it was like pulling teeth and I was told to wait until a high risk doctor appointment to get it, of which they would not schedule until around 9-weeks. Additionally I was told that they would not schedule me for an ultrasound or an appointment until after 7-weeks as they would not see anything and wanted to make sure I was farther along. Who in their right mind does not know that at 5-weeks you should be able to see a yolk sac and even a fetal pole? My previous high risk doctor and OB had me in the office even at 4 weeks to make sure everything was moving along and to address any concerns. The staff has 0 desire to help and it was like pulling teeth to get any help even with HCG draws and progesterone prescribed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Especially for high risk moms who require a different level of care. Here I am scrambling to find a doctor to ensure that my baby is taken care and so I can take the required medication to keep my pregnancy going…"
