"The Plant is one of those Little Wonders that no city should be without. It is run on the Open Studio Model, and is a public all-access Art Studio, Gallery, and Performance/Meeting Space, where members of the general public can come in and work on art projects, display their work, attend meetings of various progressive groups, and socialize. The Owner/Manager is an art professor, Doctor Paul Rutkovsky, (who has taught at Harvard, MIT, and FSU), and there's a community of students, local volunteers, other helpers, and patrons. Worth it just for a glance at genuine human activity directed at local and world situations, and a chance to participate, and there are art shows, musical gatherings, and other offerings to examine as well."
"Love The Plant! We need more places like this in the community. I taught some kids painting classes here and we had a great time. Kennedy is amazing, checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be going back!"
"Cool place to relax and work on projects. Tool and work areas in the back. Local art all over. Check it out if you have some art to post or have something you want build. Also there is a food bank if you have needs or want to donate. Tell them Todd with Computer Dudes sent you."
