"I like the gym and the people who work here are great. That's why I'm not giving it 1 star. However, I wish I would have read all of the reviews before signing up because canceling your membership is a nightmare. You can't call and do it over the phone. You can't go in and do it in person. You have to call and get an email address and email your cancelation in (which I did). Yet they still charged me 2 more months before I caught it. I found the email, called them back and they asked me to resend the email. I verified the address was correct and sent it to them again (waiting on the phone this time). They said they didn't get which is funny because it wasn't in their spam folder and it didn't bounce back to my gmail. We tried another email address. Same result. Now they want me to send them a certified letter to cancel. YeeeaaahhhhNope. Just cancel your card and save 90 minutes of your life. This is a great gym with great people working there, but a shady business."

"The billing practices of this facility are very deceptive and borderline illegal. When adjustments were made to my son's account due to football commitments, we we misinformed resulting in months worth of over billing...which of course they would not reimburse. Find another facility."

"Great gym! All of the instructors are top notch and have always known what they are talking about. Either for sports training or strength, this is a great spot to go to for athletic training."

"I recently had the pleasure of exploring Tampa Sports Academy and I must say I'm thoroughly impressed. Their facility and the range of sports programs they offer are simply outstanding. From youth development programs to adult personal training, they have something for everyone. Their coaching staff is highly experienced, passionate, and committed to helping all individuals reach their full potential. It is truly hard to believe this place has a negative review."

"If i could give this gym zero stars I would. At all times there are kids running wild in the gym, seemed like more of a daycare then actual gym. After tearing my bicep I called to freeze my account with which they replied that I was not able to and there was nothing they could do since i signed their contract. They also told me there was no cancellation fee, which is also not true. You must buy out of your contract. Which was never explained while signing up. I cant stress enough how annoying the process has been, not to mention the staff member that was very unfriendly EVERYTIME i went there on Monday at 6PM. I hope you are reading this and do a better job. ZERO STARS!!!! JUST PAY FOR LA FITNESS"
