"As an experienced martial artist, there are three things I look for when I visit a new school: lack of ego, lack of greed, and good technique. This school checks all three boxes. A special feature to note would be the combatives class that you will find in their schedule along with the offerings of striking, BJJ, conditioning, and kids classes. The combatives class is not designed for competition. It is geared towards real world, high pressure situations that could include multiple attackers and weapons. This is something I have only encountered in seminars. If you're looking for a place where you can train with your entire family, this is it!"

"I can't say enough good things about this gym! Corey is HIGHLY knowledgeable in his craft, combining a deep understanding of jiu-jitsu, wrestling, combatives, judo and other fighting arts with the ability to articulate and demonstrate the principles and with clarity and precision. The focus on fundamentals and principles (grips, body mechanics and position) help build a solid foundation that isn't locked too tightly into specific formulas that may or may not play out on the mat (or the street) in real life. This approach helps rapidly build confidence and a practical competence from which to hone in on the details of each position. The gym environment is one of friendly encouragement and partnership in each other's journey of growth. There's healthy competition, but egos are left off the mat. Our kids also participate in both the wrestling and jiu-jitsu classes at Dunamis, and have an absolute blast while learning a lot about martial arts and life. "I cannot say enough amazing things about Dunamis MMA and Coach Corey. As a brand new adult learner (and a female) it was intimidating to get into the sport. Corey and the team were so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable with getting started. I primarily take the no gi and the striking classes and the pace of them is perfect to start learning and getting used to the moves. The whole environment is so much fun and everyone I train with is incredibly helpful. "Myself and my little sister have been doing their free self-defense classes for women every other Saturday for a couple months now and they are great! We just did the 4 hour self-defense seminar and it was also awesome! The coaches are very helpful and informative. You definitely leave the class with a good knowledge of how to defend yourself and situational awareness. I highly recommend these classes for women and kids. 10/10"
