"I do not recommend the WCAA sports programs at all. Especially the basketball program. The basketball program thinks it’s okay to “single kids out” - their words exactly. It is an unfair league they don’t treat the kids the same there is a lot of favoritism with friends in the league. They promise a lot of things on the website and then when you pay all this money and sign up they do not give what’s promised on the website. It’s a waste of money and time. The coaches and referees also play favorites. When I spoke to the director about the favoritism and how they should be fair to the kids he laughed and said “I’ll give you a refund”. I’m sorry but that is not somewhere I want my kids to be, knowing you are not there to better the kids or to teach them but instead to better your name and just make money it’s disgusting. Oh and let’s not forget the “who cares they are 5 years old” comment. Which blows my mind because everyone who is here and pays money for their kids to play cares. Also, who doesn’t care about kids or teaching them the right thing? The program is a joke, stay far far away. There are so many better sports programs that will teach your kids the right way and treat your child fairly, and they actually DO care. Don’t waste your time or money on this program."
"Don’t let your kid play basketball with this league. Not only do the kids play outside in 90 degree weather; the director plays favorites with certain coaches, he doesn’t follow the league rule book. If you’re on his good side all you need to do is go and whine and he’ll make up some new rule to screw the other team. They have a fake draft and you have coaches that get the same players each season despite this draft supposedly eliminating this and the uneven competition. The refs are horrible. They don’t call basic calls like carrying or traveling for kids that are 11-12 years old, we have had HORRIBLY one sided games called by refs and once one decides they don’t like a coach they will not call anything for you. Kids have been put in danger by refs not calling technicals if a kid punches your kid, pushing and tripping kids. It’s unsafe conditions for kids. No shade tents over the benches, no water stations to refill water bottles. This is Florida and basketball is usually an indoor sport. At minimum provide something basic like that so kids don’t have heat stroke or get cramps, etc. They don’t even have official game balls they take a ball that one of the players or coaches has brought to use in the game. So I’m not sure what the almost $200 I paid is going towards. Apparently to pay the directors salary and pay the refs that need more training. Oh and a Jersey my son will never wear again. Save your money and find another league. This operation is a joke."
"Is this Wesley Chapel Athletic Association or window coverings of America Association I'm confused. The address takes you to personal home address yet the pictures and the website take you to the sports field it's very confusing. My grandparents came all the way down from over an hour away to see my sons baseball game and missed most of it because of this mixed up and you don't get anywhere by calling the number."
"WCAA Athletics (Bob Dorr, Director of basketball and the AVP Lacrosse, Cowboys football, Cheer, and Flag Football) has refused to issue refunds to parents after drug use was witnessed by the president of Cowboys Football, (Raleigh Allen) during a practice. These individuals promised several parents refunds and that has been over two weeks. At this point, the leadership has stopped responding to parent e-mails. These individuals have been very deceptive and have intentionally hidden information from parents including, status of refunds, and the fact that our team did not have enough players to compete. It had been 4 weeks into the season and the Tiny Mites team had not had an opportunity to play yet due to lack of players. Instead of issuing refunds and trying next year, the administrative team has attempted to hold players from transferring to other teams and also refused to issue refunds to some parents. At the end of the day, the children and being affected as they haven't been able to play. Also, they are being forced to stay with an organization that didn't address the drug use on the fields. I will never allow my child to play a WCAA sport again."
"Very good for kids that like sports"
