Tarpon Springs Jiu Jitsu Fitness is a health institution located at 321 North Safford Avenue in Tarpon Springs, Florida, United States. Owned and led by Ryan Montecalvo, a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 10 years of training and 6 years of coaching experience, our institution focuses on teaching Gracie Jiu-Jitsu methods in a no-gi gym setting. We recommend wearing a long-sleeve rash guard and leggings or shorts for classes.

Situated inside a spacious warehouse, our facility also offers yoga, aerial yoga, and various exercise equipment, making us a one-stop shop for self-defense, yoga, and fitness needs. With classes available for the whole family, including kids ages 4 and up, women-only classes, women's self-defense seminars, and co-ed classes, we cater to a diverse range of individuals looking to improve their physical and mental well-being.

"I never thought that jiu jitsu would be for me. I enjoy group fitness classes, but didn’t think this “sport” would be something I’d enjoy, but boy was I wrong! Just gather a few minutes of courage to walk in - and Coach Ryan will take it from there. He’s friendly and passionate - and he makes it fun, so the nerves are replaced with excitement! We do our fair share of laughing and giggling in the beginner class, but we’re moving on up. The women’s self defense classes are also so great! Must try!"
