"I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Yoh Sawatari, DDS (oral and maxillofacial surgery) more than 6 month ago, and my appointment was cancelled twice. When the representative called me, she said that they would contact me to overbook me since I had waited so long for the appointment. They never called me. I had to call several times until they rescheduled the appointment at a different location. 5 days before the second appointment, I received a call from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department that they needed to cancel the appointment because the doctor would not be in the office that day. The lady at the phone also said that neither Dr. Sawatari nor other doctors in that department see my condition. Even though I told the scheduler my condition when I first called to make the appointment, that department waited until 5 days before the second appointment (more than 6 months after I originally scheduled) to advise that they do not see treat my condition. Additionally, when I enter my condition on the UHealth search engine, Dr. Sawatari name appears as a treating provider along with the whole Oral and Maxillofacial department. I have also reached out to the Neurosurgery department and other doctors including my PCP, and they all agreed that a maxillofacial surgeon is the right specialist to make the consultation with. Dr. Sawatari and his office are very unprofessional. They made me waste my time while I am suffering from a condition that is very bothering."
"I went 3 years ago by Gabriela Albota, she made the diagnosis but I was treated by students without supervision, who did a mediocre job, at the time I didn't realize it but 3 years have passed and what their work has caused me various problems, infections and severe gum retraction. It is not worth taking the risk, the price is the same as in a private clinic."
"I’m a dentist from Venezuela. I graduate on September 1981. Now I am a citizen of this country and I would like to validate my Diploma as a dentist in this country. I went to Michigan to have a postgraduate in Dental Rehabilitation 1988-1989"
"The absolute worst experience. They cancelled my oral surgery appointment last-minute three times. Reaching the front desk is nearly impossible. I'm currently recovering from my wisdom tooth extraction in excruciating pain because they're 'unable' to provide a prescription re-fill due to my surgeon not being in today. Please avoid this facility at all costs."
"UNBELIEVABLE! My wife is a patient there and has attempted to schedule an appointment for oral surger, due to cancer. It's been months waiting for a response and at this point I have no choice but to let the public know of their NEGLECT to their patients. I'm appalled and disgusted on their lack of sense of urgency. Never will recommend their office to another person. If I could rate their office with no stars, I would. My only advise to the office is one thing, TRY HARDER."
