Reviews
"For $7 the only difference between the lunch and dinner portions is how much rice you get. They also can't seem to cook their sweet potatoes all the way through. The food here is usually very good but seems to have gone down in quality over the last year."
"When it comes to the name of the place, I definitely preferred the Thai over the Sushi. The Penang curry was phenomenal. The peanut flavor and the overall density of the curry were a perfect match. Penang Curry is my go-to for every first time in a new Thai place; just to be able to rate it. And this one gets five out of 5. I did go back the next day for their bento sushi and salmon bento lunch. It was good, ample portions, overall they provide great service."
"Loved Tom Ka and Kanisu. Good place to eat. I asked for Wi-Fi password but the waiter said she doesn’t know it and can’t get it :( other than that food is good!"
"I had sky high expectations for this place, based not only on good online reviews, but also a friend’s recommendation. Expectations were not met. It wasn’t bad. The food just didn’t rise above average, and for these prices, middle-of-the-road 3-stars is real. The edamame should have been served hotter than it was, but the fried gyoza was cooked to perfection (I suspect they held the edamame while the gyoza cooked, allowing it to cool too much). The rolls were on par with what you’d get from a nice grocery store, but at $20 (or as high as $30) per specialty roll, I want something memorable…otherwise that grocery store made-fresh sushi delivers more bang for the buck. No complaints with the combo fried rice. I just left feeling a little disappointed. Service was good, and that’s often where a restaurant can drop a star or two, but for me this visit, the food just didn’t shine."
