University Place Community Park

"I'm new to Florida and surprised how underwhelming playgrounds are here. This one is decent: 4 slides, plenty to climb on, couple sit and rocks, a standing seesaw, 2 adult swings and 2 baby swings. There is a building with bathrooms (kinda gross but bathrooms none-the-less) and a water fountain. There are 2 tennis courts and a field. There are 4 6-foot tables with benches under a small pavilion, a small grill, trash and recycling. There are 2 benches near the playground. Parking is right next to the playground. A handicap ramp from sidewalk to playground. Adults could easily escort there littles on the playground. Only took a couple pictures because other people were here."

"Nice small park, has kids play equipment, a field, tennis court and restrooms. keep a watch out for the occasional ant mound in the field, stepping on them might be unpleasant for both you and the ants ;-)"

"Looks like a playground and an open field at first, but there is more to see than meets the eye. There is a hidden trail behind the tennis cage. It's a bit rough but you'll come across a spring and the foundation of an old abandoned buildingAt the small pond adjacent to the restrooms you can see mockingbirds, black vultures and a juvenile alligator. The pond at the rear of the park is a great place to see dragonflies."

"Nice and clean court to play tennis and pickle ball. Only 2 courts available, sometimes it gets busy, also only one tennis net on one is the court."

"Great place for kids to play. Bathrooms are very clean grass well maintained. Only problem is way too many mosquitos around 5 6ish."
