Reviews of BayCare Behavioral Health- Community Recovery Center
"The treatment I received here was wonderful. The nurses were caring and attentive. The food was amazing. The techs were welcoming and the therapist/group instructors were informative and engaging. This place really cares about your well-being and treatment."
"This place changed my life forever . They pushed me to be the best person I could be , they challenged me every day for the purpose of digging deep and to find the man I am today ! Clinical team was the best especially my counselor Nikki ! I wouldn’t be here Today without her ! All in all I’ve been too over 10 rehabs in 12 years and I could never get it right until CRC . It was hard but it was worth it . Graduation rate is low because it’s for the people that are ready to get sober and are willing to put forth the effort and sacrifice necessary to succeed. Love all of you and will never forget the impact you all have made on my life , and my children’s lives !"
"As far as facilities go, CRC is a clean, air-conditioned building. The mental health technician's are AWESOME! However, the "mental health clinical team", leaves a lot to be desired. While the counselor's seem to truly care about the residents, their hands seem tied by the "program manager". With endless head games designed to make the resident "uncomfortable" there is little doubt as to the reason their graduation percentages are as dismal as they are. (In the six months I was there 17% of those enrolled in the program graduated). Of that 17% all but 2 had a pending court case. If this is the only option you have take it. But if you have ANY other option, stay far far away. As a former administrator at the executive level and a business owner I can say that if I had a management team like that at CRC they would not have a job for very long. Totally incompetent and unprofessional."
"So I did get some good things from this place. The Techs for the most part are absolutely amazing. Therapist Ryan is the glue to this place. But between Maria and Nichole and the LIES and Manipulation between the two I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you truly need help and have no where else to turn then yes go. But if you can find ANYWHERE else to go then do that."
"I was a resident there and my experience was horrible. I am an alcoholic and I am now 120 days sober. I spent about 2 plus months there voluntary and though I cherish some of the friendships I made and still have, I wouldn't return to CRC for anything in the world. They belittle you, try and turn you against your peers, and definitely hold any court orders over your head. Most of the people that graduate are the people who are court ordered to be there. I have realized how strong I am without CRC and am very serious about my sobriety , though I can add CRC to my list of triggers. I wanted to drink more in that center than I ever do now being free from those four walls. There's others as well. I will not write names but other reviews will follow. Some of the techs are great... management and most counselors except for one , are miserable and strive to make experience there a nightmare."
