Universe is an innovative institution located at 2837 Pine Tree Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, United States. Founded in 2018 by Nicolas Barone, Universe offers a unique approach to learning AR/VR app development by teaching in the metaverse. Students are able to experience 3D concepts in a 3D environment, combining the convenience of online learning with the quality of in-person education.

Nicolas Barone, a Cornell engineering student, was inspired to create Universe after feeling frustrated with traditional online courses. He saw a gap in the market for collaborative and immersive online learning experiences and set out to bring the benefits of in-person education to the virtual world. Since its inception, Universe has taught over 15 courses in the metaverse with a graduation rate four times higher than traditional online courses. With over 10,000 students and being the 3rd largest VR events channel, Universe is leading the way in live learning in the metaverse.

Nicolas Barone, an experienced instructor in the Metaverse, has taught numerous Unity courses and developed VR worlds for AltspaceVR. Tony Qin, a graduate from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration with a background in computer science and game design, brings his expertise in software engineering and 3D animation to Universe's holoportation lessons.
