"Truth be known I wasn’t aware that I was eating vegan until after my meal so this review is based on taste and experience. The hummus was amazing. The gumbo tasted like oily spicy warm water with brown rice. The second worst gumbo I have ever eaten. The stir fry was average. The service was average. Not a fan but I’m sure some will love this place."

"What a hidden gem this place is. We are vegan and loved all the vegan options available, the service was great, calming atmosphere. They really know what they are doing with vegan cooking. We had burritos, the sides (tabbouleh, mac and cheese and hummus were all excellent) were wonderful and the dessert was so good you'd never guess it was vegan. The store was cute too. Highly recommend this place. I'd love the mac and cheese recipe if you are willing to share? Thank you!"

"Sunflower Cafe is my daughter and mines favorite lunch Cafe. We love, love, love the food but today we were very disappointed in our server, Abby. People that came in after us were served before our order was even taken. We tried to get her attention several times and she seemed to ignore us completely. It seems she knew one of the tables customers. Our tip reflected our disappointment. We will be back, but hopefully she will learn how to be fair in her services."

"Stopped at The Sunflower Cafe for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the great tasting food served here. They serve a variety of healthy dishes using fresh organic ingredients. They offer Vegan and Vegetarian options. We started with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, I had the Mediterranean Turkey Wrap with sides of Tabouli and Baba Ghanoush. My companion ordered the Tuna Salad Sandwich with a side salad. The flavor of everything was terrific and very pleasing to the taste. The portions were good size and we both came away quite full. The only disappointment was dessert, we ordered Key Lime Pie. It was a small serving and came without whip cream. In my opinion the taste just wasn’t there. Overall it was a pretty good meal although it turned out to be a little pricey for lunch. I would eat here again and recommend giving The Sunflower Cafe a try."
