"Called for an appointment, told booked out more than a year and to go in as ER patient. We live 3 hours away, so went in on a Friday and waited an hour, took us back dilated my sons eyes and did eye test. Back to waiting room for 6 hours, couldn't leave because they'd already started the appointment. Did testing, entire time spent there was 8 hours, and then we were told we need an appointment with neuro. They scheduled us an appointment at 10:40 3 days later. Drove another 3 hours for this appointment, to be told at check in it was an appointment from an ER visit so we will have to wait a minimum of 4-6 hours to see the doctor. Why even book an appointment time then, especially knowing we are traveling so far with children. Can't trust them to book us an appointment now, because we can't always wait 6 hours with kids."
"I'm extremely dissatisfied with my recent experiences at this facility. Despite visiting twice in one week for the same issue, the extensive delays and apparent lack of attention from the medical staff are incredibly frustrating. On both occasions, I waited for over four hours only to receive less than five minutes of rushed consultation from doctors who didn't seem care to listen to my concerns. What's more, there was a significant documentation error from my previous visit that the doctor failed to acknowledge, dismissing my input as the patient. Instead of taking the time to confirm the error through a quick manual test, the doctor simply sent me away without addressing the issue. This lack of thoroughness and communication between visits is concerning and reflects poorly on the quality of care provided. It's clear that there are serious shortcomings in the training and education of the medical staff here."
"I don't know how good the doctors are in this place, because the doctor didn't see my son. We arrived at 10 pm and left with my son screaming at 1:33 am. They had not attended to those who were there when we arrived. Terrible experience. And to think that it is the only child emergency in all of Miami in ophthalmology. But an emergency is far from being, because there were people waiting for 6 hours."
"I have been coming here for a bit and the wait is always eternal. This place is always packed and it is huge. There is an eye glass store on premises. They have an eye emergency room in the building as well. There is a paid parking lot across the street which is the Jackson hospital one and there’s a free one across the street."
"Uhealth Sleep Center: I had a very positive experience at the Uhealth sleep center. It was easy to find. The staff was very kind. The sleep room was surprisingly nice. Not sure if the negative reviewers were there long time ago otherwise I don't understand what they are complaining about.. The registration is in the central place on the 5th floor. Everything went smoothly and quickly. The sleep rooms are very nice and comfortable. Even a towel animal was prepared and waited for me on my bed like in a cruise. The inroom bathroom was clean and everything was functional. The sleep tech was very kind. Overall, I had a 5* experience, so again the negative comments must be obsolete or they used to being in the Fourseasons type of hotels.. this place is as good as usually a Marriott Courtyard gets. The Uber drivers had no issue finding the place and dropping and picking up at the entrance. I felt very safe and comfortable. If you have sensitive ears, you could bring earplugs since the street has some noisy cars and the ambulance comes and goes. Mia airport landing planes can be heard"
