"Espinosa treated my daughter so bad that the girl left the office in tears. Espinosa tells you that she doesn’t want to hear your problems, to go to a therapist for that. She’s a very cold individual. She only wants to give out pills and for you to stay on those pills so she can keep charging you for office visits every 3 months. Horrible experience."

"Dr. Espinosa is an excellent psychiatrist. I was recommended to her via a friend of mine who also sought treatment at her office. I was initially hesitant due to less than satisfactory visits to other professionals in the past (misdiagnoses, lack of respect, ad nausea) however her treatment is beyond what I have become regrettably accustomed to. Her candor, professionalism, kindness, and knowledge are above and beyond what I have experienced, having lived in several states. I highly recommend this doctor, especially for those who are hesitant to seek treatment. Sometimes reviews aren't the only way to find out what works and what doesn't. You need a complete picture, including a one on one session. You have to do what is right for you."

I had been going to Dr.Espinosa for a few months and I would always an get attitude from her assistant(s) and finally was treated not correctly by Dr.Espinosa herself and that was the final straw. "I was a patient of Dr. Espinosa for about a year. During this year, she diagnosed me as "bipolar" and given me medication off the bat. I was put on depakote within the first 10 minutes of meeting her, i was 13. I have switched psychiatrist since then, i am not "bipolar" and never have been. My new doctor said that what Dr. Espionsa did was horrible and unethical. She cares more about her fake hair and keratins more than her patients."

"Dr. Carmen Espinosa was late more than a 1/2 hour, others waiting to be seen mentioned that she is often late. She does not call to advice her clients of her tardiness. When she finally walked into her tiny waiting area from the street, she did not look at anyone, did not say hello, did not apologize for being late. Dr. Espinosa went directly to the receptionist to tell her that someone named Mrs. Cruz's file was missing. After my elderly father and I went in for the consultation, Dr. Espinosa was fixed on her writting notes and when my father spoke to her she answered without looking at him. She was writting, When I asked her questions about my father's condition she said 'ask your mother', who is usually the person who takes him to his appointments, " I have explained everything to your mother." I insisted that I wanted to know but her demeanor was not one of cooperation. I was very unahappy with the visit !"
