Reviews of Passport Health
"Staff was friendly and very thorough in reviewing potential health risks for our upcoming travel. They recommended vaccines and medications, but were not pushy with their comments. Very satisfying experience"
"Easy to schedule, very knowledgeable, they have all of the vaccines, very helpful, lots of parking"
"My consultation and follow-up with Kim Lovito, RN were truly the most professional moments I've ever encountered in my 20 years in South Florida. No exaggeration. She was extremely, informative, personable, articulate and comprehensive. I feel confidently prepared for my visit to India and would highly recommend Passport Health. In fact I already have to friends visiting Vietnam and Thailand later this Fall."
"Great experience. My wife and I shopped around for place that carried the typhoid and yellow fever vaccines and decided to try the Passport Health office on Stirling Road. There is an office fee for the first appt but considering everything you get it was well worth the $45 per person. The appt included the prescriptions we needed, lots of customized education, and of course the vaccines. It is hard to get appts on a weekend but we were able to be seen on a Saturday..We were seen by a very professional and kind nurse practitioner. We were given the time we needed to ask questions and decide on what we needed...we never felt pressured to buy more than we really needed for our trip to Peru...the vaccines can be expensive as is! I highly recommend this office."
"I visited Passport Health a few days before leaving the country for a few months. My appointment with one of the nurses (I'm so bad with names) went very smoothly. She was very nice, and didn't try to sell me on anything that I didn't need. She gave me pamphlets and information about each immunization and vaccination I needed, and was very detailed about everything. Other than the fact the appointment was well over 1.5 hours, I was pleased. I asked her to fill a prescription for me, which is needed so I don't get Malaria. No problem. She said she'd fill it that day. NO BIG DEAL. Well, I went to my pharmacy before they closed, and they didn't have my prescription, because it hasn't been filled yet. Okay! No big deal. I called the office to make sure that it would be taken care of the next day, seeing as I had to leave the day after that. I left a message, saying to please call me back as soon as possible. The next day, a lady named, Karen, called me back ready for a fight. First, she gets me on the phone, no hi or hello. Just, "Tell me your pharmacy number and how long you will be in the country." So I said let me go grab the information. She said, "Well you just call me back. I have another call." I asked her if she could wait just a second I have all the information in my purse. "No, I have another call," and she hung up. Lovely. I would never talk to a client of mine like that. EVER. So I called back with all the information, and I try to ask why it wasn't called in yesterday. I couldn't even get half a sentence out of my mouth before she decided to talk over me, and tell me how she is not going to argue with me, not once but several times. Don't you have any manners? Then she said if I argue with her, she will not fill the prescription that is required for me to embark my ship. I told her once again I wasn't just trying to...."I don't want to argue with you ma'am." Well fine. Don't argue with me. Just fill my prescription, Karen. Just fill my prescription. I'm trying to leave the country for work in several third world countries, and she was literally holding it over my head. I was not pleased. I can put up with a lot, but this, this was too much for me. I am not happy in the slightest that I was treated that way. You have my money now, so go ahead and be rude."
