"I feel absolutely scammed. I was charged $40 only to be told that I need to see a doctor as they could not order any tests or prescribe any medicines. Wish I had read all the other reviews first."
"I was out of town and couldn’t access a doctor or minute clinic so I decided to try this service. Had to wait until the next day to speak to a doctor. I knew I had strep, but the doctor argued that “unless I’m a ten year old child it can’t be strep.” I explained my symptoms and he continued to argue and state it was just a sore throat and refused me an antibiotic. I had to wait until I got home to see a doctor that confirmed I had severe strep at this point. Haven’t eaten or drank anything in days because my illness got so severe due the this doctors negligence and incompetence. When telling me how to treat my “sore throat,” the doctor made comments that I needed to “refrain from partying during the holiday.” This was unprofessional and uncalled for as I can’t even eat the slightest bit of food or drink any water with how severe my symptoms are. I asked for a refund and was told that it was not warranted as I received a diagnosis from the doctor. However, the diagnosis was unfathomably wrong, and the care I received was completely unacceptable to the point of being disgusting. The fact that they would scam people out of what little money we have to not even provide adequate care is atrocious. I will never use the service again, and I warn anyone contemplating using the service, not to. I recommend going to the nearest urgent care as you will have to spend more money in the future as these doctors will not provide any help."
"MD Live is currently holding $450 hostage bc they used an incorrect billing code for florida blue. It's now the week of Thanksgiving and they stole everything I had saved for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas gifts for my 2 kids. And now I'm being told it will be anywhere from 30 to 45 days before I may hear back from them. If I could give them a negative amount of stars, I would. This is the 2nd time since July that they've done this to me. Got it fixed the first time and hadn't had any issues, then the week before Thanksgiving they hit me with $250, then $150, and today another $50. Any insurance companies looking to work with them need to look for a different company because this one will give you and your customers more headaches than any of you want to deal with."
"Oh wow what a waste. I'm trying to figure out how I can build them for my 30 minutes wasted because literally all she did is go over lab work that I already received. And being that I have no need for medication or no illness that was truly a waste of time. The one thing that I did wish to request from her was a physical therapist referral because I fell leaving the pool. She couldn't do that but she did send a follow-up report that included nothing nine pages of nothing actually although I had already received the lab work. I surely wish that I would have read these reviews before I booked this appointment."
"I cannot cope! Candid Camera? Punked!? Do we laugh or cry? Set up 2 appointments. Registration was scarily quick, and we were reminded at least 4 times that if we needed any narcotic classed meds, they would not be filled. The registration rep said we would get a psych appt with48 hours and PCP same day or next. Both next avails were 4 days out, but we had a much longer wait for new pt in person appts, so okay. The PCP came on and basically reviewed his med list that we had already uploaded. He told us the prescribing doctors ( pcp of 5 yrs, pain mgmt specialist & ortho surgeon) were prescribing inappropriate meds. Declined 3 for this, one because he wasn't comfortable... we are still waiting a week now for the 3 he said he sent in. We were off in about 10 minutes. 2nd appt that night was with a psych who was eating a sandwich and crackers as he talked to my husband. He was EATING DINNER. He gave his opinion on each medication and the diagnosis, then declined to prescribe anything saying if he did some, an in person psych wouldn't prescribe any. We explained this was for bridge meds. He repeated his standing and nothing on that. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this circus was the farthest from any thoughts I had. A great idea, but they need better staffing."
