She only lost near 70 pounds with the bypass and a month after her stomach was same size than prior in sure that he is a scamer when we called to go and review the surgery they were completely unprofessional! We paid cash btw"

"Don’t understand why Dr. Sosa advertises so much and now has the payment plan and financing. When you call their office you give them the insurance information and you never get a callback. If the insurance doesn’t cover, they should at least offer the finance option or maybe you could pay the cash if the price is right I don’t know if Dr. Sosa is aware, there has to be better customer service."

"I cannot speak on the Dr. and his expertise, as I was not given the opportunity to speak with him. I called because this is an important decision and I have many questions that needed and answer before I make a decision. I was told that that first I needed to be approved for “financing” to see if I was able to afford the surgery. Which, if and whatever my insurance didn’t cover, I was willing to pay in cash. After some push back, the receptionist said, that it was fine to speak to the Dr. first and I was scheduled a call with the Dr. Well, about 10 minutes before the call, I received a call from another receptionist saying, that they needed to do the financing first. I explained that I had questions that I needed to ask before making the decision to move forward. She then said, that the Dr. won’t talk to me if I was not approved. So, I said fine, lets do it through my insurance. She asked me to send her a copy of my insurance card and my ID, in which I did. It has been well over a month and I have yet to hear back from them. This office is in desperate need of some organization. They are all over the place. It seems like they are more focused on the money, rather than being concerned with the patients concerns and making the patient feel like this is the place they want to be. It’s a hard pass for me!"

"My experience with Dr. Sosa and his staff has been amazing. During the time of my surgery I was never nervous about it at all. Dr. Sosa’s expertise assured me that everything was going to be fine. I had my surgery 6 1/2 months ago and have never had any regrets. I have lost 60 pounds and feel fantastic. Thank you Dr. Sosa for giving me a second chance in life. His Nutritional staff has also been very supportive throughout this time. I look forward to my monthly call and to all of the advice and suggestions they have given me.
