"I had a big toe that was looking infected and a very painful ingrown nail for about a week. Had an appointment with my pedicurist to fix, however she had to cancel yesterday. I did not have a podiatrist, so starting calling around to see if anyone could schedule or squeeze me in. The kind and caring front desk gal at Coastal scheduled me for the next afternoon. I was grateful but even more so when she called back about an hour later and asked if I could be there by 3:20 PM. Dr Brendon Zelna treated, took out large piece of nail and did the procedure which prevents from having future ingrown nails. I was pain free immediately and have now found my podiatrist if ever needed in the future. He and his staff did not disappoint. Thank you !!"

"My in-laws were long-term patients of Dr. Heather Zelna and thought the world of her. I too think the world of her after becoming a patient in 2019 when she operated on my big toe that was overcome with arthritis, had no cartilage and was all bone on bone. She restored my toe to new by inserting a metal plate and doing whatever else was necessary to eliminate the bone on bone pain I was experiencing. Dr. Heather is a top-notch doctor. Last Thursday (9/29/22) I slipped and broke my ankle badly in three places. Went to see Dr. Heather the next day after being in the ER (she fit me in) and she recommended a highly specialized ankle and foot trauma surgeon because of the severity of the three bone breaks and tissue damage. She contacted the surgeon and I was able to quickly get an appointment and am now scheduled for surgery this coming Monday! Dr. Heather also went out of her way to get me quick access to a knee scooter, which is by far the easiest way to get around on level ground. So very thankful for all her efforts. In addition to being an outstanding doctor all the way around, Dr. Heather is very caring and very tuned into her patients. Just look at all her reviews. I'm a patient for life!"

"Dr Heather is seriously one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I wish she was a primary care so I could see her more often and not just when I have a toe issue! She is so nice, fun and easy to talk to, and she treats her patients like people. I had to get an ingrown toenail removed, which involved lidocaine shots in between my toes, and she made what would have been an awful experience as pleasant as possible. Everyone in the office is amazing as well. Go see her!"

"After I turned my ankle some months ago, I went to two podiatrists and an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery before seeing Dr. Heather Zelna at Coastal Foot and Ankle. I would be remiss to simply call her a wonderful podiatrist. She is a wonderful doctor, period. Knowledgeable, kind, energetic yet calm, reassuring, communicative...she explains her thought process, answers questions patiently, and is very methodical in her approach to treatment. My lingering post-stumble foot pain and tingling, while somewhat better, continues to present a bit of a puzzle, and is probably complicated by my elderly age, so I won't say that it has been miraculously resolved. However, she outlined a path we can pursue if the treatment deployed thus far proves ineffective. I have complete faith that if anyone can restore my foot to a happy condition, it would be Dr. Heather. I strongly recommend seeing her for any foot or ankle woes."
