I felt the need to come here and write a review as I was so grateful to have found such a thorough caring physician. He took his time with me and is the first doctor to help me get to the bottom of an issue I’ve been struggling with for many years. He’s really great. Have no reservations scheduling with him. You’re in good hands. He is a wonderful asset to Kanan Medical Altamonte."

"I had an appointment with Dr. Alessandro Cavalcante and was very fortunate meeting an amazing and very polite doctor. After listening for several minutes about my issues, he quickly "connected the dots" and caught the root cause of my issue. I've been in some many different doctors, but I finally found the one that solved my issue. I was also very surprised for learning he's trilingual!"

"Dr. Cavalcante is absolutely amazing. He is very caring and makes sure all my concerns are addressed. If any treatment is needed, he makes sure to explain the medication, why it's needed and how it's going to help me get better. Sometimes I have a lot of questions as things can get confusing and he takes his time with me to ensure that I understand what he's explaining."

"I have to say I'm very disappointed with Dr. Lydia Marsham. The first time I saw her she promised me that I found the best place to come to to get the best care and that she would take care of me. That was just an initial appointment. I then made a second appointment with her for a physical which had to be canceled because they stopped taking my insurance due to the contract expired. I was told to call them back in a couple of months because they were planning on renewing the contract. They finally renewed the contract and started taking my insurance again, so I made an appointment with her for a physical. My appointment was for today 11/29/23 at 10:00. I got there at 10:14 due to I had an emergency at home which I called them to tell them I was 5 minutes away and explained that my toilet over flowed. I didn't know that the late policy was only a 10 minute grace period for being late as most doctors give at least 15 minutes. It was only my second visit there so I was unaware of the policy. I got there and begged them to please just let me be able to see her as I took the day off of work and I was only 4 minutes passed the 10 minute mark and they refused me. They told me I had to reschedule because she was supposedly booked all day but yet the office was empty. Not even 1 patient was waiting to be seen. Unfortunately my insurance limits me on who I can go to but rest assured if I could find another doctor I would never come back to this place again. Now I wasted my time and gas to come here just to have to reschedule for a different doctor on another day. What is this world coming to where doctors can't even give you a break for being 4 minutes late for the first time. Especially when there's no one else waiting to be seen. Very bad customer service and if I could give her zero stars I would have!"

"Good luck booking an appointment. I booked back to back appointments for my husband and I with the same provider. When I get there, I am told that my husband cannot be seen because his provider is not present but mine is. This was confusing because we were planning on seeing the same person. Turns out my appointment had been booked with a different provider than who I thought. It’s fine. I’m flexible. I agreed to be seen by this new provider, hoping that we could both be seen at once. No luck. The worst part is that I had a missed call from them, BUT I called back to inquire what it was about. All they said was that they were probably calling to confirm my appointment. Very poor service. I clearly wont be rebooking any appointments here in the future."
